Java's Bugs/Features are well known and exploited by the community and enjoy the protection of "We Will Never Break Your Farms".

Mojang feels that breaking the farms of Bedrock players is fine and acceptable. Bedrock Players wish they would not do so. We feel abandoned and attacked with every "parity" change that inevitably takes from Bedrock because they can not give more to Java.

Java is not a perfect game that Bedrock should emulate, but Minecraft could become greater if the better change came to it instead of always diminishing 1 version of the game.

Players who pay money for underpowered Realms from Microsoft really wish they would stop making things lag with their changes.

Just like the crouching while opening chests feature. It might’ve not been intended, but it took so long to even mention it, that players had already built entire strategies around it. Being one of the most used mechanics in anarchy and Raiding servers. While on Java, many of the bugs like tnt, sand, carpet, etc dupers, are now called a feature because the players asked for it. It is ridiculous how you hear them but not us. For bedrock we can’t change version at will without major multiplayer issues. While java can play on their 1.12V worlds when they please with all the bugs from that version. Either all “advantaging Bugs” should be deleted from Java too, Or bedrock should be able to keep theirs.

Remove TNT Duping, gravity block duping and tripwire duping from Java first then think about this.

I understand that some people's xp farms have been broken, but as someone said, a bug is a bug and should be fixed. Isn't it only natural that such a farm that runs based on a bug is broken?

Alright guys, it's time to stop spamming hate to Mojang. Look, we as bedrock players have been hit with stuff like this before and so has Java. We have made farms to fix farms but so have they. There are other ghast farms, there are other bonemeal farms, and there are other xp farms. Trident killers aren't going anywhere. This bug was honestly overpowered to begin with and should've been patched sooner. I am effected by this change to, I have some of these farms, but keep in mind once you as the player buy the game, you keep it and all updates. Stop focusing on the bad and start focusing on the good. Also we just got cushions, which I would take any day over arrow killers. Please re consider your messages and apologize if you could've went to far.

Thanks to the guy who said to stop spaming, like I said mojang didn't did it on purpose and if you have nothing else to say than "I agree" just vote for the report.
I proposed making looting compatible with tridents to fix this but nobody realised since peoples keep spaming for nothing.

Arrow killers are here to stay. Parity between versions has been a lie since eternity and 1.9 was enough proof that Mojang doesn't want parity. Keep it and we all live in peace. Remove it, and you'll have thousands of people mad. When is attribute swapping getting removed, huh? When will TNT dupers be patched for Java? Here's the solution. Don't "fix" anything. We're fine with this. Why not remove actually harmful bugs like mobs going invisible?

Absolute L change. This completely offputs my excitement for cushions. Way to fail your community, Mojang.

Nearly 2k votes and Mojang still doesn't care and is still going to remove this feature. If they're going to remove a lag friendly xp farm from Bedrock they need to work on performance and make Realms stronger. I'm losing half of my Realms members to Hytale because of this short sighted choice. I'm probably just going to cancel my Realms sub and stop buying addons now. Good job i guess? Thanks Mojang

I specifically remember them saying a while ago "we won't do anything to break farms". Then they proceed to do something that ruins damn near every overworld farm.

I've put in so much work in to my solo world to construct this farm and surrounding structure. Seeing as mechanics overall in bedrock is just worse then in Java, this mechanic changing might just make me abandon Bedrock for good. Please reconsider and don't change anything here.

I understand that some people's xp farms have been broken, but as someone said, a bug is a bug and should be fixed. Isn't it only natural that such a farm that runs based on a bug is broken?

There is a massive difference between a bug that nobody wants in their game and a bug that everyone utilizes. If we took into play what Bethesda did for Skyrim for example, it's a 14 year old game with a bug where you can glitch into the corner of a house to raid an armourer's chest. That is an example of a utilized bug. People want it and Todd Howard, the creator of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, commented saying "We can do anything, but we don't do everything." If people find this exploit fun and useful, it shouldn't be viewed as a bug and more as a WAI (Working as Intended).

Now I'll bring Mojang themselves into this next part. A few bugs that might not have been fixed are the following: AI moderation, getting banned from hosted worlds, and the wack buff of Magma Cubes. These are all things you all don't want, and yet they're in the game with no planned removal. They're known as enforced player-hostile mechanics, and Minecraft practically runs off of them. The PS3 version of Minecraft didn't let mobs have Armour Points. Bedrock and Java edition do today. I doubt you all asked for it, but it's Mojang's way of saying "we can do anything. But not do what you want."

Overall I do not see any bright resolution for Mojang in the near future. I am sensing this is only the start to something graver.

Yesss for the love of God keep this its such a necessity for most farms and if this gets removed for being a so called "bug" then why has tnt duping on Java been in the game for years? Why does Java get string duping and tripwire hook duping? Stop calling Java bugs features and Bedrock features bugs please Mojang.

Guys. If they're removing this, I think we deserve even more parity changes but for JAVA EDITION. If you want TNT dupes being removed in return, go upvote the *Minecraft: Java Edition / MC-310268* bug report I just posted.

EDIT: nevermind. They hust labeled it duplicate

Bedrock and Java are not the same game. We don’t have off-hand for mending tools. We don’t have sweeping edge. Without these features, it only makes sense that we would use arrow killers.

Why are you doing this to optimized farms that are lag efficient. Bedrock is broken. Observers, composters, etc randomly stop working. This will corrupt our worlds moving back to moss farms. Fix the redstone before removing this and make it deterministic

"Why are you doing this to optimized farms that are lag efficient. Bedrock is broken. Observers, composters, etc randomly stop working. This will corrupt our worlds moving back to moss farms. Fix the redstone before removing this and make it deterministic"

    - Wdym "This is lag efficient." ? This is litteraly a thing spawning at tonne of mobs !
    - Wdym "Bedrock is broken." ? WHAT IS BROKEN ??!?!!? You said complaining about a bug fix, WHAT EVEN IS THE POINT !?!!?!!????
    - Wdym "Observers, composters, etc randomly stop working." What Do You MEEEEEEAN.
    - Wdym "This will corrupt our worlds moving back to moss farms." ? Do you even know what corrupt mean ??? Are Moss farm that bad ??? WHY DO YOU TALK ABOUT MOSS FARMS ???
    - Wdym "Fix the redstone before removing this and make it deterministic" ? WHY ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT REDSTONE !?!??!?

from what you said, it seems apparent that you don't know what arrow killers were used for besides xp farms, so let me explain, from what that person was talking about, it seems they made a fish farm for bonemeal, which is not laggy, does not create a lot of noise, is relatively easy to make, and is optimized, the next best bonemeal farm is the moss farm, which is why they were talking about that, and they are loud from pistons, laggy from the pistons and hoppers, and while fairly optimized with what we can do with our redstone, which is so buggy and breaks constantly so that you can barely even make a flying machine, it is still super slow. that should answer your questions except the corruption one, I don't use moss farms because it is literally easier to go to my nearby trial chamber and kill the skeletons for bones because moss farms are so slow when I tried them, so I have not experienced the corruption (if there is any)

Mojang don't do this it's a sandbox game and it uses legitimate physics to work.

Arrow killers are very essential for many farms for in game survival, this should be kept as an in game feature as we barely have any good bugs. Every bug on java edition suddenly becomes so what called “feature” but they treat bedrock like a back up money maker, seriously if they really cared about bugs they would have already fixed other bad bugs in game why just this one?

    They already considered this.
And talked about it in a changelog.
