Please keep this in the game its already so annoying to do Bedrock farms and we need at least some things to make op farms like Java. Java has so many good bugs like quasi connectivity and other stuff. please keep this!

This really should be undone absolutely, it's just another deterrent from bedrock which we all know is how you make $$. I might just have to switch to java unfortunately, this is really dissapointing as I had just spent hours on a farm that relies on this mechanic.

I don’t understand the logic of us bedrock players constantly getting oppressed by evil mojang when Java players get treated like royalty.

Oh come on guys, arrows are supposed to be consumed, don't fool yourself by abusing bugs and glitches and thinking it's a normal feature when it's not.

And it's funny how others think that this fix is a bug lol, the arrow killer is a bug, don't rely on bugs and glitches.

as a hardcore player, all designs at the very least require one trip to a nether fortress for nether wart. most players before making the trip suit up in full diamond gear, have weapons, tools, totems, some even golden apples, aswell as fire resistance, all so they can make the trip safely to collect the nether wart. this is a lot of work to put in to make these farms. these farms are not simple, they require sustaining and constant crafting of items or potions. i haft to say it, xp after enchanting all your gear basically becomes useless other than repairing tools with mending. people build huge projects that require constant repair. xp showers like the ones people have been making honestly should not even be considered a glitch for bedrock or java, it should be a standard feature for both versions. after everything a player has done in their worlds, the work they put in, pressing a simple button to quickly repair all your gear so you can get back to building is such a simple luxury that it honestly makes no sense to remove it- especially considering you all know very well why people love this feature

In the name of parity, you remove the quirks from Bedrock edition, but not add the ones from Java to Bedrock (TNT dupers, Building on Nether Roof etc.)

We're even missing features from Java edition, such as Ender pearl chunk loaders, literal Offhand, easier Iron farms.

If you're gonna do something, do it right.

I've personally spent probably a dozen or more hours designing/tinkering farms that rely on this arrow mechanic specifically. As others have pointed out, removing it invalidates hours of legitimate survival builds and experimentation, with practically no benefit in return.

If this change was intentional for the sake of balance or parity, I don't think removing the mechanic is the right solution. Most players would probably agree that armor stand–silverfish XP farms are already on the stronger side, but this is one of the few mechanics that helps offset how frustrating the anvil and enchantment system is.

I'd even argue that this mechanic should be added to Java Edition instead of being removed from Bedrock. That would move the editions closer to parity, while preserving a useful mechanic that players have already built around.

Fully agree. This would have a huge impact on the technical Bedrock community and break many existing farms for very little benefit. I hope Mojang reconsiders this change.

Hundreds of thousands of people have spent obscene amount of hours designing technical builds around this tech. Removing it essentially throws that time away. Think hundreds of thousands of hours wasted. This has been here for over a year; and no announcement has been made until now. This will drive players away from the game. Why don't we just remove redstone while we are at it.

This is going to break a lot farms and other technical builds. The community has found many interesting and creative ways to use this mechanic and this change destroys all of that, so please don't let that happen.

Why does it always have to be Bedrock who gets to sacrifice things? You have taken away the cool frozen oceans that we Bedrock people love (boating anyone?), the 1 cobweb to 9 string and a lot more others. Why this arrow killers as well? Please Mojang. You already said parity between Java and Bedrock are impossible to achieve so just let us have our own Bedrock-exclusive bugs that we CAN ACTUALLY ENJOY. THIS is one of those. So please Mojang, LISTEN TO THE BEDROCK COMMUNITY JUST THIS ONCE? THIS IS A BUG THAT WE ENJOY USING.

Arrow killers are one of the few things that keep me sane whilst playing Bedrock!!! I miss so many mechanics that Java has, its nice that Bedrock can get some unique ones of its own, and I feel that removing these much loved mechanics only leaves the game at a worse state than it was before.

I just finished a shop for an smp im on with a farm using this today. It took me hours to integrate all the logic that went into it but seeing this just made me very sad. If this goes through then me and my friends work will be a waste of time...please revert this Mojang

It too bad I can't downvote this post. Farms that used this system were extremely easy to create and much better than actually difficult farms. It was fully an exploit and I'm glad it's gone because I'm sick of people thinking it's the standard

Why do Bedrock players always have to sacrifice something? Java still has TNT dupers, and those have been around for years without being removed because they're part of so many farms. Now that Bedrock finally has one genuinely useful mechanic the arrow killer that's used in all kinds of farms like silverfish farms you want to remove it too?
Please, just this once, let Bedrock players keep something. We already have fewer technical features than Java, and every time Bedrock players find a useful mechanic, it feels like it's the first thing that gets patched out. This bug has become part of so many Bedrock farm designs and survival worlds. Removing it would just make a lot of existing farms obsolete for no real benefit. Please reconsider and let Bedrock keep this one.

If Java has been allowed to keep TNT dupers for years because they've become an essential part of technical gameplay, then why remove Bedrock's Instant Damage II arrow killer when it's become just as important to many Bedrock farms? Please be consistent between editions. If long standing mechanics that players rely on are worth preserving on Java, then Bedrock deserves the same consideration. Many of us have spent countless hours designing farms around this mechanic, and removing it would invalidate existing builds while offering little benefit to players. We're not asking for Bedrock to be stronger than Java. We're asking for the same level of consideration and consistency. Why is it okay for one edition to keep a bug that benefits its community, but when Bedrock finally has something useful, it's the first thing to go? It honestly feels like Bedrock players are always the ones who have to give something up. We just want Bedrock to be treated with the same consideration as Java.

I agree. If this is really a bug, it needs to be patched as soon as discovered.
