I agree. If this is really a bug, it needs to be patched as soon as discovered. Hundreds of thousands of people have spent obscene amount of hours designing technical builds around this tech. Removing it essentially throws that time away. Think hundreds of thousands of hours wasted. This has been here for over a year; and no announcement has been made until now. This will drive players away from the game. Why don't we just remove redstone while we are at it.

if this gets removed then so many good farms will break, I don't see why this Feature should get removed

Please Mojang don't do this, many users are goanna lost essential farms which they had build I know what you are thinking, considering the fact that this will goanna give unfair advantages to players, but consider a game like Minecraft is for expressing creativity not to deal with constrains. I hope that you will consider the appeal of bedrock Minecraft community.

Please dont remove this! I have a busy work schedule and it is SO tedious to get my enchanted loot back after ive died, and these farms are a huge time saver for me so I can get back to enjoying the adventure. I JUST learned how to make one and it took me a week of tinkering and googling to figure out what I was doing wrong. I cant imagine the time other players have put into more elaborate farms.

this needs to stay in the game, it is too important to be taken away!

We deserve better than this - we have barely any good features and this is one of them, while java always gets all the good features and barely gets it removed. And if trident killers get to stay, then what's the point of removing arrow killers? If arrow killers are too op, then why keep tridents too its the same thing

Maybe make looting (the enchantement) compatible with tridents would be a great replacement, and make tridents killer way better.
    What do you think ?

Not only does this mess up a lot of farms, this also messes up the poor souls that don't know this change will be coming to their farms, for the fish farms and ghast farms that fine but when someone boots up their silverfish farm that pumps out hundreds of silverfish a second, this will destroy their worlds with the amount of entities that aren't getting killed. I also have to waist a whole lot of time afking at my bonemeal farm so I don't have to worry about running out. Please let us keep this in the game, like you let Java keep their nether roof and tnt duper.

If the intention is to "increase parity between the versions" then Bedrock Edition should not be the version that constantly loses excellent features like Arrow Killers.

When the ability to trade Nautilus Shells to Drowned for Tridents was removed, the Technical community worked to create new farms. But it was a deep disappointment to many of us that took great joy in the mechanic that was removed to make way for...what? There was no gain, only loss.

In comparison, Java can still build on the Nether roof. Mojang knows that removing that feature will result in countless players being upset, so they don't do it.

Arrow Killers, trading Tridents, etc... same thing. Bedrock deserves nice things too! Don't remove Arrow Killers to "fix" a bug that no one knew was a bug. Don't remove them to "increase parity" between the versions. Improve the game quality, don't nerf it.

Pleeeease, Mojang! We really need this. It was honestly one of the best things about Bedrock Edition.

When I was 7 years old, I played Minecraft because it felt like there were endless possibilities. One of those possibilities was making XP farms that were fully automatic. It never felt like a bug to me—it felt like part of the heart of Bedrock Edition and what made it unique.

That feature had so much potential, but instead of letting the community expand on it and find new creative uses, it was removed. It felt like a piece of Bedrock's identity disappeared.

All I'm asking is that you consider bringing it back. It was a fun, creative mechanic that made Bedrock special for a lot of players. I know I'm not the only fan who misses it.

    Sincerely,
    A longtime Bedrock fan 😉

I strongly support reverting this change and preserving arrow killers on Bedrock Edition.

I have played since Pocket Edition 0.9, and this is part of a frustrating pattern: Bedrock players create workarounds for missing features, invest hours into them, and then lose them without a comparable replacement.

Arrow killers are not just a novelty. They are used in XP, ghast, fish, slime, silverfish, and other farms. Breaking them invalidates many established survival builds and removes an important tool from an already limited technical scene.

The silverfish XP farm may look overpowered at 200 levels per minute, but Bedrock still lacks Sweeping Edge, Java-style sweeping attacks, and full offhand use. That makes killing grouped mobs and repairing multiple Mending items far more cumbersome. Java has powerful XP farms plus better combat and repair options; Bedrock should not lose its workaround while the underlying disparity remains.

Trident killers are excellent, but they do not replace arrow killers in every design, nor do they solve normal combat or offhand parity. This change also creates concern about whether trident killers could eventually be treated the same way.

Please identify the player need, provide an intentional alternative, communicate the plan, and only then remove the mechanic. Replacement should come before removal. Parity should add equivalent capability, not repeatedly take useful features away from Bedrock.

We dont have sweeping edge (not that I like it) so let us keep our way of killing mobs in bulk without a trident killer that takes up a 4x4x2 space.

Please do not remove this feature. Many technical builds are centered around this single feature. I understand this is technically a bug but the solution is not to pull the rug from under millions of Bedrock users. The solution is to add a late game mechanic that can generate XP at a similar rate. The game has no solution for XP right now besides this. Mob farms are extremely inefficient, and too many things rely on XP that it is a massive roadblock to creating the technical builds we all desire in survival.

Please do not change this feature. This is very important to some technical builds and there aren't other solutions that won't require a full rebuild.

"allowing a single arrow to infinitely kill mobs without despawning wasn't an intended mechanic" is kinda a crazy thing to say after them being in the game for 3 years and tnt dupers literally exist as a "feature" in java, which guess what, allows infinite amt of tnt from one single block. Sure you want to patch it as a bug, go ahead. But atleast give proper consistent reasoning. Just doesn't make sense in any way, thanks for at least replying to our concern but just could have put more thought into it, how do you expect players to be fine with that, it just looks partiality from a certain view point. More clarification would have helped.
