This would function similarly to how beds function in the Nether and End dimensions. Blast Furnaces and Smokers would be exempt from this.
This could also have redstone applications, by allowing players to create redstone systems around lighting furnaces to funnel TNT into, which could potentially be useful for traps (obviously if this breaks any PvP balancing this should not be implemented).
