Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Diabase

Diabase has a hardness value of 12.5. It can be found in the overworld near lava. Diabase could have ore variants of coal and quartz, and can be used to make obsidian tools. Diabase will be blast-resistant and dragon-resistant and wither-resistant. Diabase can also be crafted into armor, walls, stairs, slabs and doors.

I thought of this idea when I searched up what is the hardest rock on earth. I also found this wiki, and I made up what it would be in Minecraft. This is the wiki link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diabase

Diabase wasn't the hardest rock on earth, I thought it was, I think that I was on a different question.

What I like for diabase is to craft reinforced chests. I also was thinking that instead of diabase armor, there should be reinforced chainmail armor where it is crafted with the chainmail armor with 7 planks and 1 diabase, for example,

chainmail chestplate = c, planks = #, diabase = d

"#c#",
"#d#"

Also, for the reinforced chest,

chest = c, planks = #, iron nugget = i, diabase = d

"###",
"#c#",
"idi"
