I suggest making the game more challenging by making it so that water buckets can't create infinite water sources.
That is, you can still spill water underneath them if you fall. But after placing it, it will spill to the sides and disappear.
However, to place an infinite water block, used in various farms or artificial lakes, you'll need a dispenser.
However, the water won't leak if it's poured into a confined space.
- So, if you place a water bucket in a 1-block hole, it will create a water block.
- If you place it in a 2-block hole, it will be 3 layers high.
- If you place it in a 3-4-block hole, it will be 2 layers high.
- If you place it in a 5-7-block hole, it will be 1 layer high.
- If you place it in a 8-block hole or more, the water will evaporate after it spills.
If such water falls on fire blocks, it evaporates onto 1 layer
The same applies to lava. But it's half as large due to its spreading radius.
That is, I want physics to apply to all water placed by the player. Naturally generated water or water placed with a dispenser works as usual.
At least add /gamerule that allows you to do this
This would force players to use other things to move around, such as ladders, ropes, ender pearls, hay bales, slime blocks, etc.
This kind of complication would be perfect for a real survival mode, not its casual version.
