Petition to Revert Toggle Sneak Change MC-163218

The ability to open containers while remaining crouched has been considered a feature by the community since Toggle Sneak was added back in 1.15. It has remained in the game for nearly 6 years, and in that time has become essential to some play styles. The feature is available to all players, so it's not an unfair advantage.

For instance, the Trapping community, who uses it to remain hidden while building traps underground in PVP scenarios. It's used for really just any PVP scenario where one would have to sneak around. Or even just to remain hidden in your secret base on your friends world.

This change retroactively nerfs this for seemingly no reason, it doesn't positively affect gameplay. Please don't implement this change.

    You removed a useful bug, in all honesty I would just add the feature to regular sneak instead of removing it from toggle sneak

    So many people will die (in Minecraft) if this is removed, you are adding a bug not removing it

    I don’t even use traps that much, but genuinely the fact that you can sneak while opening things is so useful, and no matter what must exist in the game

    I think they just have to make it so hold sneak isn't interrupted when opening inventories even if you let go the shift button but instantly uncrouch when exiting the interface only if the key is no longer pressed.

    This "bug" made so many different crazy plays, traps even full server events go the way they did, we need to keep this as it has been for so long.

    Even if this was a "bug" it's basically a feature after many years, why on Earth remove it?? And consider the benefits this "bug" has to online servers or pvp

    Yeah Iv been playing MC since 2016 and Iv actually been using this so called "bug" in my manhunts, Mojang Revert this, Me and my cat Sneakers plead on this
