I love how Mojang is changing minecraft forever. Preparing minecraft for the future. I love the mountains. They are masterpieces. But they are VERY RARE. I passed in a lot of mountains biomes but it was old mountains there not the new mountains. Since Mojang put an effort in giving us this amazing mountains at least make them more common to be appreciated.  I was in creative mode for 25 minutes to find one. If I was in survival mode it would take 10 days of me playing to find one. So my advices are:

    - Make mountains more common (way more common). Also those old mountains could be less generated(they are ok but not that many).

    - Some mountains should be way more taller almost in the limit.

    - Also fog would be so cool in those mountains. Fog would be cool in any biome but since is not possible at least for now it would be cool in mountains.

    - I know this was not announced on Minecon but would be so nice to see a hardcore weather in the top of mountains. Like snow more fast and more agressive and also a lot of wind (minecraft doesn´t have wind). But that wind would push you and make you fall and make you move way slower.

    - Last one: Also not announced but would be cool to see avalanches since that it what is about mountains. I know it´s hard in a block game had something like avalanches. But there are a lot of things that are no cubes on minecraft like smoke, like flowers, etc so maybe they can do that.

The mountains could use better water features and water generation - streams or rivers that start high and have structurally generated level changes - waterfalls or rapids over rocks.

The mountains look great in the new beta but I feel like the update hasn’t been integrated into the rest of the game unlike the caves. The caves have been completely overhauled, & there were great changes throughout that affected the entire underground, but all the existing mountain types such the M type of certain biomes like the desert or jungle, or the plateaus of the badlands haven’t been touched. The updated mountains themselves are amazing, of course, but I feel that the existing mountain biomes of times past should also be updated. Speaking of mountains & existing features, I feel that the existing water features like rivers & lakes should be expanded upon to again, be more integrated. Things like river valleys, glaciers, lakes, water falls cascading down the sides & even oceans with imposing cliff side overhangs would provide an inspiring experience for travellers to delve into. Delving into caves unique to the mountains would also be an experience to behold & a good way of integrating the caves part of the update into the cliffs. In conclusion, I do feel that the current mountains are great, they are in fact wonderful, it just feels like they have been popped into one area, leaving the rest of the mountain generation in other biomes & surrounding features to feel outdated.

There should be more mobs in the new mountains, such as:

    - Wolly Cow
    - Bouldering Zombie
    - Mountaineer
    - Wind Caller
    - Iceolager (which should appear generally in snow biomes)

I love the new mountains. It'd be cool to maybe see some reward like a small structure at the top or something but other than that, they're great.

One thing that is somewhat related is that I would like to see get improved alongside the new mountains is raising the shattered savanna plateau to have the possibility of generating to Y256 to match java's.

I think the new mountains are too rare and personally I think the mountains need some more color variation maybe more andesite and gravel in them;but I also would like to suggest an amplified world option for bedrock players

At a point near the top of the mountain or mountains you should start to freeze unless you have leather armor or near a camp fire i thought this would be cool.

Since the Iceologer lost, strays should be able to spawn in mountains, specifically in snowy slopes, snowcapped peaks, and lofty peaks. This would make sense because skeletons turn into strays when exposed to powder snow. Strays should also use freezing arrows instead of slowness arrows, which inflict +20% freezing unless you wear leather armor. Freezing arrows would be pretty fun to use in PVP, and would help take advantage of the new freezing mechanic.

Villagers that spawn on the snowy mountains have the plains outfit. Would it be possible to change that to the artic blue outfit?

If it takes 20 mins to find in creative mode, imagine how long it will take in survival... hopefully there are some tweaks that make it somewhat easier to find

Currently you have a weird sort of falloff with mountains as they'll just spawn in the middle of flat biomes that will circulate around the mountain instead of creating a range.

In real life, mountains are formed with tectonic plates smashing into one another, forcing the continental crust upwards and over one that is being forced downwards.

My main suggestion would be to try and make it so multiple (let's say anywhere between 3-5) mountain biomes spawn touching each other's biome borders. This would greatly add to the effect of mountain scale and size on not just a vertical but horizontal scale as well. Providing large natural boundaries that players might not have had in previous versions of Minecraft.

2 things. One, there is an unnamed item that has no use whatsoever and is found in the items tab of the creative inventory. It can't be placed or used I don't know why it is there. Maybe it has a future use or it was just a mistake. Anyways, I had a quick question, is there a specific update schedule like Java snapshots or do the team over at bedrock just update whenever they feel like it. : ) thanks!

Love the new mountain generation but there are a few things that need to be changed.
    1. Make them generate more like a range rather than just a random biome
    2. Make them more common. It took me several thousands of blocks in a straight line just to find one
    3. Smoother transition to the mountainous terrain.
    4. Either remove the extreme hills biome completely or make them part of the new generation and call them "Mountain Edge". They spawn way more than the new mountains do.
    Thank you Mojang!

    Gracias mojang, buen trabajo

It would be very good for the aesthetics of the game to add an atmosphere of fog in biomes not only in the ..., already in all, in states of rains or storms, for example in the desert that the fog looks like sand, that would be very very very Okay

I really like the new mountains, but I feel like they just all look the same after a while. You should make it so that they gradually slope up on most mountains, and make cliffs with waterfalls going down them and make desert mountains and jungle mountains and make mesas in the mesa biome generate better.

I personally like the rarity of the new mountains, as it means that finding one is truly special. However, there needs to be at least one more mob or a new structure at the top to make them interesting

In my opinion they are incredible, and much more enormous however I also would have liked to see mountains a little similar to those shown in the update of the bees.

Currently caves are not spawning at all in the new mountains, which is a bit weird. not sure if this is a glitch or if this space is being saved for a new feature, but just thought it should be acknowledged.

I would like the old mountain biomes to be transformed in the same way that new ones were created.

I say this even though I think they will still do it!

I thank the minecraft developer team for their incredible work in bringing the community together every year as new updates.

You guys should make it so there is a mountain biome that has grass go all the way to the top of the mountain instead of it always being snow. I feel like this would just help it be a bit more realistic.

Everything else about the mountains are amazing though!

I think the new mountains could be even taller.

As for appearance: I think their smooth generation is good, with a ton of steps, but I think they could use more flat sides and a bit more blocky generation. More flat sides would make for better cliffs.

I also think all of them look very similar and would like if there were more verticality to them.

I like the new mountains but I think it's missing mountains with no snowcaps. I think there should be a rarer sub biome of mountains where the surface of the mountain is mainly generated with grass blocks, including the peak. There would also be a tree line somewhere below the middle, and no snow would generate anywhere except for very small patches.  They wouldn't be as tall as the snow-capped and lofty peaks, but they would be...smoother? A more gradual transition from sea level to the peak I guess. It would be a distinctive difference from the other new types, but wouldn't detract from the others new types. Overall though, I like the new mountains but it'd be awesome to have mountains with no snowcaps especially for building!

    Maybe try to add some
Boss challenge or something Irreplaceable  that we have to climb the mountain  If it just look beautiful, players will  get bored easily

Because we climbe on the mountain must to do something meaningful but now it seems only the goats and the ores really attract players to climb the mountain

Hello! Thank you for asking for feedback, because i have a little. Wouldn't it be nice to give these beautiful new mountains even more reason to journey to? I think i may have thought of a pretty good one. A unique block that generates only in the mountain biome. This block would be a stone type, to represent the (new)tall parts of the world, as deepslate does for the (new)low parts. I think of this stone as being a bit between blue and grey, a little darker than stone, but lighter than deepslate. Naturallly these would have variants, and a pillar type instead of tiles to make it extra special. I made a few textures to show you what i mean:

I have also thought of a name: Cliffslate

    Thank you for reading this!

The new mountains look amazing but there's still some things that need to get flushed out:

    1. The snow/grass border around the mountains looks unnatural. It should look more jagged and have more variation.

    2. The new mountain biomes are extremely rare and should definitely be bumped up in terms of how frequently they spawn. They should also spawn in ranges and not the typical biome 'blobs'.

    3. The old mountains should have some changes made to them to make sure that they don't stick out. Right now they're ugly and barren and need some basic changes such as smoother/steeper terrain and a better foilage color, as well as some extra plants and trees.

    4. The clouds should be modified to spawn in multiple layers, and they should come with more variation to thickness and texture, as well as opacity. This would help with the atmosphere in the new mountain biomes, or heck it could just give the overworld a much nicer feel to it.
