    Note :

Education edition is available on Mac (intel and Sillicon) and runs completely smoothly. And, if I'm right,  education is a subversion of bedrock.

I would like bedrock also on older Macs. Then I can play Minecraft with xBox users (my friends).

I know that this will probably never be done because MacOS is a "major" competitor with Microsoft, but honestly, Minecraft is not going to be a deciding factor for people's operating systems, and it introduces a whole entire platform of people who would purchase the game.

Not to mention that the platform is extremely capable of running it, and already has been implemented (though not intentionally) and worked perfectly.

I’m pretty sure it’s not a „we don’t release stuff on competitors platforms“ type of issue as Bedrock already is available on iOS and iPadOS. macOS is a niche market compared to iOS and iPadOS.
I rather think it’s a pricing issue as the Bedrock edition that runs on Apple Silicon Macs is actually Minecraft Pocket Edition which has a completely different price tag. Something in the order of $8 vs. $20.
Now to not discriminate against Windows users they would have to release the same thing again in the App Store but with a different price or adjust the Minecraft Pocket Edition price to match the Windows Store’s price.
    I’d be fine either way.

Heck chromebooks are now getting Minecraft Bedrock edition. There is no reason not to launch it! And it already supports macOS because minecraft education runs on mac which means it'll be extremely easy to port over standard bedrock.

With support of mice and keyboards already a thing on the iOS version, I’d imagine it becoming easy porting the Bedrock version onto Mac App Store. I’d really like to see this happen, Mojang!

Bedrock edition is already on macOS in the form of Education Edition, which is the exact same codebase. No reason they couldn't port it over.

It's really interesting, actually... "Minecraft: Education Edition" runs on MacOS pretty smoothly. It runs on the same engine as the regular game (Bedrock Edition), so I'm a little lost as to why this version hasn't gotten a port yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a game developer. I've never worked in that kind of environment, and I don't know Microsoft/Mojang's priorities. I'm not sure... The engine already runs on MacOS. Anyway, it would be cool to play on MacOS, especially considering the upgraded hardware in the new apple silicon CPUs.

Now that we have Apple M2, I think it's time to have also Minecraft Bedrock Edition. We have payed for Minecraft Java AND Bedrock, so please do it !

Moreover, my favorite server The HIVE is now unavailable on Minecraft Java, so I have lost a lot of pleasure by playing on Minecraft. My gaming experience is highly degraded...

I'm begging you to move this request

    Thank you

Just allow the iPad version to be playable on mac, if you won't make an official port.

If anyone is wondering why minecraft bedrock isnt on mac then Ill answer your question simply, Microsoft and Apple are rivals and naturally microsoft would want you to buy one of there PC's over an apple one, so thats why minecraft bedrock edition is not avalible on mac.

Please just flip the switch for letting us download the iPad version of Bedrock on the Mac App Store. It runs perfectly on my M1 iPad with Mouse and Keyboard, it will run on my M1 Mac without any changes.

Not running Bedrock on MacOS because it being a rival OS to Windows sounds like a classic bad management decision.

Not sure I understand why you can get Bedrock on the Chromebook but not the MacBook 🤷‍♀️

Just let people play the game together!  Either allow the iPad version or do an official port for the Mac!

Also another reason that Minecraft Bedrock Should be on macos is because Minecraft education is, and since Minecraft Education is Highly based on Minecraft Bedrocks Gameplay so Why can't Minecraft Bedrock be on MacOS? also Minecraft Bedrock and Minecraft Education Look similar they have to be using the same Coding Language which is C++, so It has to be possible for Minecraft Bedrock To Run on MacOS....

MICROSOFT PLEASE ADD MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION TO MACOS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
    I BEG OF YOU!!!

I really wish they added this! Now with the new M1, M2, and M3. It should be more than enough compatible to run bedrock on macOS.

they wouldn't even have to change anything they already have it on iOs so it's just a switch to make it available on Mac too. Mac's can run iOS app's by default.
