[Bedrock] Accessing Caves & Cliffs features with the Experimental Toggle

With all the buzz surrounding the new Bedrock Beta, let's make sure you're able to set yourselves up and help test out the new features. In beta 1.16.200.50, the Experimental Features toggle has been updated to make doing so just that little bit easier. Here's how to get started.

When creating a new world:
  • Scroll down to 'Experiments' and toggle on 'Caves & Cliffs'
When using a world you created previously:
  • Go to 'Edit'
  • Scroll down to 'Experiments' and toggle on 'Caves & Cliffs'

Caves & Cliffs features available in beta behind the experimental toggle:
  • Goats
  • Powder Snow
  • Sculk Sensor
  • Dripstone Block
  • Copper + Lightning Rod 
  • Glow Squid
If you are using a world that was created previously that you're particularly attached to then please note that betas can potentially make worlds incompatible with future versions of Bedrock. While copies of your world are generated automatically in the event of something going wrong, you're also able to create copies of your world manually as an extra precaution. 

And there you have it, you're all set to start trying out exciting future features coming to Minecraft Bedrock. Happy experimenting!

    Of course you can't on FireOS, since you are not in beta (there is no beta on this platform)

    i'm using a nintendo switch lite and it's not showing up either

    i play in windows 10 and the option isnt showing up is it a glitch or do i need to do somthing to put it there.

    Maybe this could be set in the base game instead of a beta, and you can turn it on whenever you want?  This would be making getting into betas a lot easier.

    I have the beta on bedrock edition. I can get onto it, I have all the items available. However the whole point of a caves and cliffs update is to change the caves. Apart from the new ores, the caves are the same. Same size, nothing new, and below y=0, there are no ores at all. Not sure if this a bug but it’s quite annoying as that’s the whole point of the update

    I use the Windows 10 version of Bedrock, and this toggle doesn't show up for me. As of now, I'm on 1.16.210. It's very frustrating, especially since I'm up to date on Minecraft. And by the looks of it, this toggle should have appeared by now. I'm not mad, I'm just annoyed that this post is advertising a feature FOR MY VERSION, yet the feature isn't appearing.

    As atualizações da bedrock estão muito poucas. Parece que a equipe da mojang mão liga para bedrock porque não aparece nada. Porfavor cadê as atualizações????????

    My friend is having the same result. No matter what seed we use or how many worlds we generate, we can't find any of the new biomes, and below y=0, nothing but stone

    we are running version 1.16.230.54

    I think the experimental options for "Cave and Cliff" should be made accessible with the official release of 1.16.230.
    This makes it possible to check the operation of all platforms, and I think that bugs can be fixed quickly.

    Whenever I try to turn on the caves and cliffs update on experiments it does not appear 

    And I'm doing it on minecraft beta

    I don’t have java, I play on bedrock Nintendo switch and I find that this is a really good idea. I think that it shouldn’t always PC players that get to try everything out...
