A variant of Stalactites in cold biomes: Icicles!

Icicles would act the same as stalactites, except they would look like ice instead of a rock.

    I'd imagine that it would do half the damage to the stalactites but if they hit they would give you an effect called chilling. It would just be the powder snow stuff.

    The icicles aswell as ice blocks should drop ice shards like prismarine shards and should be used to craft ice blocks and icicles.

    I think it would be a very good idea to add Icicles to the game. They could spawn in a new icy cave biome under the ice spikes biome.

    Amazing idea! This could generate in the caves underneath the new snowy mountains. Also, when you fall on them or touch them maybe, they deal some freezing damage like powdered snow.

    This biome could have big ice sructers with traps and new mobs that guard the loot and mazes leading to rooms filled with lots of mobs and loot
