Make Floating Island World Types Generate All Overworld Biomes

The floating island world type is really interesting to play on but it would be much better if it could generate all biomes like the normal overworld biomes, instead of just having to pick a biome for the whole overworld. It is an interesting way to spice up a survival world but the interest quickly dissipates when there is only one biome to explore, which not only limits scenery, but also available blocks and resources, and also structures and mob spawns.

    Yes please, allow us to generate all biomes. It becomes really boring with only one type.

    1.16 already added a way to do this using datapacks.

    I agree with this. I actually ran a test tonight in Java Edition 1.16.5 and noticed that a variety of different biomes still generated the floating islands the same way. There really is no reason why it has to all be one biome.

    How?! I did a google search and didn't find the answer on how.

    I think I would still prefer if they made it do multiple biomes from the start or make it an option under customize button.

    Yes please! I've always loved the Caves and the Floating Islands world types as theyre so much fun to play with, but it's really annoying when there is only one biome available, especially if I want to run a server. There should be an option at the top of the biome select list that lets you choose a dimension and it will automatically generate a normal assortment of biomes according to the dimension. Maybe you could choose whether you want lava oceans and water as well, so you could avoid weird water physics on your floating islands.
