    I like this idea a lot! I think the poison fog would be very dangerous. Perhaps alongside this cave biome, they should add a gas mask to block the poisonous effects of the fog. The toxic water would be a great touch!

    Honestly, even just normal non-toxic geyers would be cool for a cave biome

    Imagine some sort of toxic ore in this biome that poisons you if you don't mine it properly

    I like this idea, but I don't like the fact that an enchanted helmet will keep out all the gas. It feels like a lot of gameplay would be cut out. Perhaps the enchanted helmet could only help you temporarily. Maybe you have to find areas where u can breathe air.

    maybe the enchant could be like the turtle helmet with 10 - 20 seconds of no poison gas damage

    PlushYapper0483 I entirely agree with you, if it did make you immune that would take the magic out of the biome, so instead maybe there could be a new type of plant that gives players clean air for a limited time.

    This is fantastic. Placing it deep underground would help create a fear of going deeper than you can handle. 

    Respiration giving you longer breathing time based on level is also a great idea, as it gives the enchantment more use. 

    The poison should only emit form the geyser blocks, so you can remove it later if you want to do something else with the area, or use the toxic clouds somewhere else.

    This is a very cool idea I think Minecraft really needs, it'd be cool if you could see steam rising from holes in the surface so you can find it easier.

    well, i think that the helmet idea isnt too good, there should be one that reduces damage, but you need to find air bubbles to be safe, also for one entire minecraft day, i think the effects should be: weakness, slowness and at random times, nausea

    KeyBubble628772 I fully agree with you, I think respiration helmets should reduce the damage, but in order to be fully safe you'll have to find clean air somehow. I have two ways in mind for producing clean air, either the plant I mentioned earlier, or some way to purify toxic-spring geysers to make them produce air bubbles.

    Un nuevo tipo de zombie o Creeper tóxico agregaría más dificultad al juego si te daña el zombie de intoxicaria por unos 4 segundos pero quitando 1 corazón por segundo y el Creeper sería una explosión que intoxicaria el área que explota y lo haría los mismo al jugador, entre más cerca estás de la explosión más tiempo de intoxicación te daría de 10 segundos a 2 segundos obviamente también te quitaría 1 corazón por segundo

    Throw in slimes and I'm in LOVE with this idea! It'd be a place to consistently seek out slimes.

    Also I love what Eduardo May said about new zombies or toxic creepers with caustic explosions.

    I also forgot to mention, this biome is actually based on toxic gas leaks in real caves, and geysers of course.

    you should add a gas mask or a enchantment that allows you to breath in the gas with out dyeing.

    In Minecraft no gas blocks have been added yet, but if toxic caves are added that dream would come true.

    The gas blocks spread in all directions, unlike water and lava, which only spread downwards or sideways.

    The player's contact with the gas has different effects depending on the gas. Can, for example: increase or decrease strength, speed, vision, regeneration, cause instant damage, and among others.

    Increase undead mob spawning so it fits the "toxic" theme. Also add new ores such as "toxic coal" that smelts faster and more durable, and add some toxic poison clouds. Anything can be damaged except boss mobs and transport entities.

    This is a really awesome cave idea!
    Could work like being underwater but in the air in the poison. Lakes could just have a faster effect on draining bubbles. That would be a way to at least make it somewhat traversable without Respiration, although a pain.
