Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I think that they should work in a diferent way. By updragind a arrow with copper it should do the same damege (and still be allowe to be tipped with potions) But have a longer range (as a metal tiped arrow is way more stable than a flint one irl)

I like the idea of Copper Arrows. I was just about to write my own Post about them but decided to just comment on yours.

The crafting is exactly what I envisioned: adding a copper ingot to 8 or 16 or so arrows to make them copper-tipped.

The buff I had in mind was slightly different. Though still taking longer to charge, I figured they would fly farther and straighter, deal more damage, and also work well underwater.

Having copper arrows would work wonderfully in conjunction to ANOTHER idea I saw recommending the addition of Crowssbow with Telescope, which is basically a Scoped variant of the crossbow. Both of these ideas would add more use to copper, and underused items. And, working together, they could create a very useful and unique ranged weapon.

As for the lightning, I would be afraid to mimic something like a Channeling Trident too closely. Maybe instead, they add some sort of electricity bank, that when struck by lightning on an adjacent Lightning Rod, becomes charged.

You could then right-click this charged electricity bank thing with Copper Arrows in hand to charge the arrows, but deplete the electric bank. But then you have a limited number of Charged Copper Arrows. This would give a balanced buff to Lightning Rods, and copper in general. It would also encourage players to treat Thunderstorms as some kind of limited resource, during which they can be ready to charge as many Copper Arrows they can before the storm is over.
