Maybe even add some kind of aura system like in the game Dead By Daylight. Would make telescope important to PVP meta

Maybe they could also add a mob in a biome or something that is normally invisible, and doesn't usually have particles, that can only be seen with the telescope enchantment!

That would make it a whole lot more useful maybe we could add a ton of enchantments.

Maybe even make it so it gives a glowing effect to nearby mobs behind walls. Or reveals chests

Even better, there should be an enchantment that highlights mobs and players like spectral arrows do

Just saying, the you should be abble to apply the glowing effect to mobs you look at (if you press a hotkey, maybe?).

' I like this idea but how about it can see the player but how about you see them but you can’t see them properly like you can see through them but you can kinda see a tiny bit of an outline of the player. I want this but if you have a telescope and can see the players it beats the point in even having invisibility in the first place

Really like the Idea of enchantments even if its Just something like a nightvision effect while looking through the telescope. This would go really well with the Warden since you wont be able to place a torch or give yourself a potion in the deep dark without causing a vibration and getting noticed by the Warden. And since we dont know if everything will be lighted well in the so called "deep dark" its a good chance to to sneak around keeping the Warden on a safe distance

Maybe it could be called Heat Scope, and it will reveal heat from mobs/blocks? So it would do the same effect, but make a little more sense

But Want Will The Enchantment Be Called?

I really like the telescope, but I'm not a fan of the cutting half of the screen when using it, it kind of defeats the purpose of using it, especially after getting the geode crystals, which are supposed to be rare. It should just show the whole screen, to make it much more usable and useful.

You can press F1 and you won't have your screen cut

You should get more visibility when using the spyglass. Extending the chunks that are visible. If there is a problem with performance, then unload all chucks behind you and load the chucks in front.
There could also be an enchantment which glows a player/mob when you zoom in to then. For a fews seconds...
    10 secs or so

    Rather than a telescope enchantment
I feel it will be more better to craft a new item using crystals to have the game balance out.
As of now it is too easy to get a telescope and enchant it.

Since in spectator mode, endermen see inverted colors and blaze powder can create heat maybe using an eye of ender on an anvil with a telescope would allow the player to see invisible players like heat vision.

im not that sure if its useful because according to mojang they wont add some features on existing stuffs and that idea comes to this if this thing will be on the game it will remove a feature which is arent that fair

perhaps the enchantment can show invisible players but the main purpose for the enchantment could be that it shows players and mobs through blocks, or take this further and be able to see chests through blocks

I think it shows everything infrared and maybe some mobs could be immune to this

Maybe when you put the enchantment, the invisible person or mob will have a spectral effect like to see them when viewed through the telescope

I think this would be much better as just a feature of the telescope rather than an enchantment.

This would be very useful against Ilusioners if they ever add them. It also would be useful against invisible spiders in hard difficulty.
