To sum suggested enchant ideas and new ones: Cateye - enchant which adds night vision when you are looking thru telescope Wallhekr - enchant which allows to see players and mobs through one block wide wall (like spectral arrow, but not that OP) Infrared sight - enchant which allows to see invisible players and mobs, and also don't see fake illusioner Cateye, Wallhekr and Infrared sight should be mutually exclusive
Foclenght - this enchant should increase/decrease the focal length of telescope. It would have IV levels: I - widest, only just 2x zoomed sight II - slightly wider than regular view between II and III level is regular focal length of telescope without enchants III - a bit narrower than regular IV - narrow sniper lens
And final tiny suggestion ... if you look to sun with telescope, you should take a damage - because it is also very dangerous in real life and minecraft should teach you that
Yes I like this idea. Maybe the enchant could be treasure-only, and be acquired through trading with villagers and with pre-enchanted spyglasses in pillager outposts.
that is an amazing idea but maybe one more enchant like one that reveles all the mobs in like a 5 chunk radias with the spectral arrow enchantment it would be called revealing or something like that but still ur suggestion was awesome have a great day
Do you guys think that it would better if the glass in the telescope recipe was replaced with tinted glass and that would make this telescope instead? Vote on this comment if you agree.
That would ruin my data pack in which all of the custom mobs being invisible mobs with a custom model on its head so being able to see the actual mob would kinda break it.
While I was trying to figure out if there was a way of making an entity sit with commands and without a boat or minecart involved, I came across a way of seeing mobs or players that are invisible. To do so you need to create a score board with teams, add an entity or player to the team and set SeeFriendlyInvisibles to 1(true). This is the link to the page if you want to figure out how to do it your self: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Scoreboard However, this cannot be done without cheats enabled. The command is /team modify <team> seeFriendlyInvisibles (and maybe a 1 somewhere around the end?).
Not sure about this one; It nerfs invisibility a lot and removes purpose for it. Invisibility is fun and a way to counter that could even be considered OP ;)
There have been lots of things that have been added and considered to be "modded" and this is the most reasonable way to get a flashlight without anything being too complicated or having the lack of logic.
