I was just about to write about this idea in an article but now I'm very interested, what other ideas do you have?

Aren’t java and bedrock owned by different companies (java by Mojang) (bedrock by Microsoft).
And how would the Mojang account work?

I was just about to write this. All my friends are in a Java SMP server together and I feel left out. But I can’t afford a pc. I wish they would just become one massive version together.

As someone who has played Bedrock for many years (and also Java for many years), I like the idea about better redstone and servers for Bedrock, along with adding hardcore and spectator. Amplified worlds probably won't be added, because Bedrock is also played on mobile. If Mojang adds it, there should be a warning, telling people to be careful if they are playing on mobile or an old/not good PC. Also, I like idea of RTX for Java. The main reason why there isn't crossplay between Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock, is because they are in different computer languages. Java is coded in Java (obviously), but Bedrock is coded in C++. No, you can't just change what the game is coded in, unfortunately.

This is all well and good, but like it has already been said by Mojang, you will never be able to achieve true parity.

This is because (among other things) as SlickBike211974 has already pointed out, the two versions are coded in completely different languages and unintended behaviour will not be the same so server and client will not agree on what happens.

Also RTX for Java will probably not happen, because the rendering engine doesn't support Pathfinding (the Raytracing type you see in Bedrock with reflections and stuff).
