This is one of the most sensitive subjects on the forums. Some ideas are easily dismissed, but you cannot dismiss the two faces the coin of spirits has had on impacting society throughout written history. Going to have a precursor.
Being new, I asked about what MC had in mind moving forward. From reading, it has been strongly hinted. Parity.
Yea? So that means it has to all work the same & be ok for kids?
You are absolutely correct, but so magnificently out of scope. Softwares’ seamless operation, yes. Kids, it's so much more. We had Oregon Trail growing up, and one thing I admire from that game to Minecraft are the brutal, realistic (befitting the core values of original gaming) consequences. Dysentery is no joke. However, Minecraft's aim for parity may eventually mean all of survival being Education Edition, and compared to Oregon Trail this game has miraculous potential to turn a toy into a netherite tool. Any changes you recommend here should not have the mindset that it's just for kids; but for all kids, divisions dissolved stretching forward. It's easier to grasp if you have a kid, but imagine having a 5 year old daughter and when they turn 7-8, you'll let them start playing. You have three years to implement change. What kind of parent do I want to be for them? Give them all that they ask for? Mr. Rogers meets Kratos? But then think of the generations to come. It may sound ludicrous, but take Chess. It's existed for 1500 years.
