Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I see where you are coming from, but once I had a shovel with fortune 3 I found I had more flint than I could handle.

Also with piercing if your arrow does not pass through it's max number of targets, it lands & can be recovered. This makes the ability to have almost infinite arrows possible.

Lastly there is already an option to possibly trade the Fletcher 10 gravel & an emerald for 10 flint.

I am on the fence whether gravel needs further use at this time. I know bamboo grows on gravel, so having a little for a farm gives it some purpose. I don't dabble often with concrete, but that seems like an already sound use for gravel.

We need this, why aren't people voting for this more?

I think the devs purposefully made it so that in early game you cannot obtain massive amounts of flint quickly. If you need arrows in large amounts just get some villagers.

I agree. Making arrows in survival mode is a painstaking process because of how hard it is to collect flint. Once you do acquire a few arrows, you are extremely reluctant to use them because you don’t want to have to find more flint.
I think that smelting gravel into flint is a great idea. Another fix could be to receive a piece of flint from 100% or 50% of the gravel blocks you mine.
