Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I personally like the lower light levels. It works really well for certain builds.

I'm pretty sure it's intended not to be as bright.

The soul fire is intended to be dimmer, and the torches and lanterns to match. If it's a personal preference, put glowstone behind stairs or something to get more light in a build (light shines through stairs, slabs and wall blocks). The soul fire lanterns work well in some cases for ominous/spooky lighting, but it may not be what you want in your builds.

Personally i Like the soul fire lantern and torch light level BUT it spawns creepers and mobs inside your haunted house that you built, Why not just make the mobs scared of the lightsource that they won't spawn in the radius of the 16block like normal torch / latnern But the light still will be weak,

As for the Soul campfires should have an chanse of possession in the food cooked, Which means that player will make random movememnt after eating the food made in the soul campfire. But it will also give swiftness 2 whit the food,

These are just ideas for the soul fire lightsources.

It should be higher than normal light sources because it's factually true that fire is blue when it burns hotter. Hotter flame = more light.
