Alright, I am not very creative when it comes to naming stuff, but hear me out. I am sure that you guys can come up with better names, and I encourage that. If you have a suggestion for a new name, I would love to hear it! For now, I will call it the 'Monster Biome'.
The Monster Biome is similar to the Swamp Biome and mainly generates near them. The Monster Biome is more overgrown than a Swamp Biome, having very droopy trees with vines reaching the surface. Monsters that usually burn in the day, zombies, skeletons, etc, will spawn at the monster biome during the day and night. (If you like realism, you can say the moist grass and the shade from the trees blocks the sun.) The chance of monsters spawning here is higher, but not exaggerated. (Possibly 10% higher of a chance of spawning.) Rarer drops from the hostile mobs are also increased (with the possibility of a 10% higher rate of dropping). Plant growth is exaggerated in this biome (possibly double the swamp's).
If applicable:
- The in-game temperature for the biome is 0.6, causing grass there to be darker than swamps.
- A new type of creature spawns exclusively in the Monster Biome (Rover).
- A new type of structure generates exclusively in the Monster Biome (if I get an idea I will link the page here).
The 'If applicable' section is full of extra features that I want to be added, but I have doubts they will become reality. The extra features listed higher are encouraged more.
