(Nether Biome) Magma swamp

This biome will be similar to texture of magma block - a lot of magma islands with lava in between. This biome will have really high magma cube spawning rate. There will be new plant fire root. It will grow on magma blocks and with it you will be able to brew a lava vision potion. The potion will allow you to see in lava, but you will still need fire resistance to don t burn.

    This is really cool and i hope that at-least something do to with magma blocks should have a biome for the nether

    I think that the best think is the lava vision potion, beause it will make buiding in lava so much easier

    interesting concept! I would like that they would add a special new tree for this biome, which would have a burned look to it, and the planks and stripped wood could be dark grey/dark red.. that would look really nice

    Yes and they should also add a shipwreck equivalent residing in the lava where you can find rare hidden treasures, which offers some usage for the lava vision potion.

    what if it also spawned blazes so there are more brewing materials there but also makes it more dangerous for a player to go there as the have to make sure they aren't shot into lava while gathering creams and your new plant idea.

    That's a great idea for the nether, while swamps are known by being humid, a nether swamp would be the opposite, it's surrounded by lava everywhere, but besides that it still has a vast fungi vegetation, it's also the only place where magma cubes spawn naturally besides the nether fortress, it could also have piglin huts above the magma rivers

    Yes, that's it! I've got my own vision, where the islands are made of gravel, died coral reef, magma blocks, basalt and soul sand. There grow weeping vines, netherwarts and overworld mushrooms. There is also new black (burnt) tree. Planks made of it are green and they nicely suit spooky houses. There is also a dark fog around. There is also rare structure - forgotten hut. There are some pictures of my prototype below.

    Ohhh and the plant could be Hot peppers, so edible too! I like this a lot, I think exploring a biome like this would be interesting and practical.

    There should be a mob that jumps out of the lava, grabs you, and tries to drag you into the lava, and it dosnt have to be exclusive for this biome either

    Lava vision is a must! Currently, even in creative we can't see anything, so building something beautiful underlava is completely pointless!

    I'd also add a potion or a status effect (via lava conduit of sorts) that would grant us better movement in there as well.

    I created a mob that is supposed to attack players who are riding striders but it would work very well in this biome. So maybe there is a higher spawning rate of my mob here but they still spawn uncommonly in the lava lakes.
