Nether Mob Ideas: Netherling: Magmaling

I have noticed that riding Striders has become a safe way to navigate the nether because the player only has to avoid ghasts so I am suggesting a new mob, the Magmaling! This mob has paddle like arms which it uses to navigate the lava lakes of the nether. While in the magma only the creatures eyes are visible. This creature will swim towards players standing next to the lava shores or players who are riding striders. This mob will screech loudly and then leap up to five blocks out of the lava to attack a player. This mob deals 3 health points of damage and has 6 life. The Magmaling will turn blue when out of the lava just like striders. This mob drop 1-2 bone, 0-1 iron nugget, and 0-1 gold nugget. Finally, the strider is to safe and does not fit in with the danger of the nether so your votes we could fix this small problem and add a cool new mob.
