I thought to combine some of my favourite portions of Minecraft. Enchanting and Brewing! if you're wondering how this may work in a brewing stand, once a player has brewed an Awkward Potion the player instead of putting in other ingredients would put an enchanted book of their choice, the brewing stand would bubble away and the player will get an Enchanted Potion of [blank]. say a player has an Enchanted Book of knockback if brewed the player would then have a potion which will apply a new knockback potion effect to the player and not an item. even unarmed players will be able to knockback their enemies with the power of a ravager or iron golem. it would also be the same for enchants such as fire aspect, looting etc do not require a melee. Enchants that affect range items will, of course, require a ranged weapon but it does not matter which. using an Enchanted potion of flame will apply the flame effect to the player allowing the player to use it on a crossbow. To combat the inherent overpowered nature this may bring to the game, the potion effect only last less than a minute, if the player already has the enchant on their gear the potion is ignored and will not stack with the already enchanted gear (No double knockback) and the potions are immune to Redstone and Glowstone brewing benefits. now there may be an issue with this, what if the enchanted book has multiple enchants. well, a way around this issue could be as simple as only books with one enchant can be brewed.
