Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I like this idea (I was just about to post it myself) but I think it should be a new biome with mostly flat plains and about 3 or 4 blocks down is a sea of lava. Geyser blocks link the lava to the surface at random places, and every now and then erupt and push mobs and players into the air and set them on fire. They geysers should vary in diameter, ranging from beacon beam width to 2x2 block width.

    The geyser would work great if it fires out some type of steam. The steam could push mobs upwards (similar to bubble elevators) at the cost of a bit of damage. There could also be variants that spew out fire, lava, etc.
