Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I like the idea of different path types, but i'm not enthusiastic about the application: Why not r-click with a spade on different "ground" blocks to have them form paths?

    • Grass - as now
    • Dirt - "muddy" trails
    • Course Dirt - almost gravel paths
    • Gravel - rocky (cobble bits in the gravel)
    • Cobble - uneven pathing
    • Stone bricks - worn flagstones (square rather than brick lain)
    • Polished andisite/diorite/granite - smooth (remove the 'edge' next to bordering path blocks)
    • Sand - does nothing

All types of path would 'join' to each other, no matter the underlying block type.

thats an interesting idea, however if you did it this way what difference would it have to simply placing down a block by carving out the dirt and putting down cobblestone or brick, i'm thinking of a more connectable fence-type coding which can recognise and make guilded corners if you use better types or polished types of stone, similar to carpet.

Or two cobblestone/stone brick and dirt. And more variations of pathways. That would make four blocks. And maybe barren dirt. Take dirt place in oven and cook it. It would be a hard surface that nothing would grow on, but effected by water. And would become mud.
