Split Screen for Windows 10

Me and my family liked playing split screen on xbox one and when I upgraded to pc the windows store said Minecraft supported splitscreen but it doesn't so please add 4 player split screen how it would work is 1st player uses keyboard and mouse and the other players use controllers with USBs.

    I also bought it for my pc so that i can play it with my kids, because it said splitscreen for pc. Huge dissapointment over all. Game works well, but now i also have to buy xbox controller, because my current is not made by microsoft much easier for younger ones to start with pad after using tablet. Is this realy the way microsoft wants to go in future?

    I buyed the game because it's better than the java version, but it's a little bit dissapointing that a i can't play on splitscreen, microsoft didn't take it in consideration, they only want money and i hate the pay resource packs

    I don't understand this either because my Nintendo Switch (which is way less capable than my computer) also allows splitscreen while Minecraft for Windows 10 does not. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to connect a controller in order to have first player as keyboard and mouse while someone else could use the controller to play as player 2.

    I would love to see splitscreen as a feature anywhere bedrock edition is played, including mobile. I play minecraft using an xbox one controller bluetoothed to my Samsung Galaxy s9, which is then casting to my TV. Having the ability to connect another controller and play splitscreen with my buddy would be awesome.

    My PC is the only device that has Minecraft and I would love not to spend even more money on a different version just to play locally. I have a Switch but find it more convenient using split-screen  ;-;

    This definitely needs to be a feature. Think of all the people with home theater PCs that want to play minecraft with their families. Its already on all other platforms, theres no reason it cant be on win 10

    I really feel stupid having paid 68$ for the master edition and half of this for the PS4 version but no splitscreen on windows 10... How is this even possible? Having read tons of critics on how good it was somehow that important feature was not mentioned in those critics... Shame on you Microsoft for making this available on competitors consoles but not on your windows 10....Not buying from your store ever again...And I can’t get my money back....

    Me and my girlfriend just want to play minecraft together with controllers and have the benifits of infinite worlds and the power of my PC, instead of us having to use the console version. Please add this one feature we would all appreciate it.

    Come on guys really? I would love to know why there's no splitscreen option. Laziness? We are all frustrated by this lack of development.

    I would love this.

    And with LAN streaming services such as Steam getting more popular, good ol' couch co-op is getting easier and easier.

     

    Would absolutely love to play split-screen on my Steam Link and still be able to hop on my bedrock server with my friends.

    My 2 kids have been busting my chops to play Minecraft forever it seems.  Have never owned a gaming console and never plan to, just a pure PC enthusiast.  No idea why co-op isn't available for Win10 version.  Heck, I'm willing to pony up for 2 copies of the game if you'll give me a split screen option.

    Got a PC that I am using as a PC and Home theatre as I am replacing all consoles, having splitscreen here and being able to play this game with my partner would be nice as I hate the PS4 controllers (Yes I already have it on PS4) and the switch version just doesn't look nice on a 4k screen.

    Please add this feature! It already exists on consoles why does the most open platform of all not have this feature?

    This should be a feature across ALL versions of the game. If a phone can run the game then how come my gaming pc can't run splitscreen? This is almost the entire point of the game: to play with friends! Why restrict this feature to consoles only??? Such a massive, MASSIVE, disappointment. Please add this feature!

    Seems ridiculous that the windows version is less capable than the console versions. I thought Microsoft and Xbox were pushing for Windows gaming again, but it seems they're not bothering with that.

    This game's been out for how many years and doesn't have such a basic feature. Just because it's a pc doesn't mean people don't want split screen.

    With the BetterTogether update, I thought there would be a SplitScreen option on Windows 10. Hopefully Mojang will make SplitScreen mode available not only for consoles, but also for PC.

    October 2019 and still nothing! Unreal. The game is essentially the same as Xbox One. Yet, when I press the start button (three lines) on my second Xbox One controller, nothing! On my Xbox One, it says press again to add Player 2. And then the other player can use his Xbox Live sign in to join the game. Why does this not work exactly the same on Windows 10 Edition???? And why are the devs not looking into this? Obviously there are plenty of votes already.

    I'd love to be able to play this on PC as split screen using a couple of wireless Xbox controllers. I don't think I'd be able to get off the game!

    Please for the love of notch add split-screen! My brother won't stop nagging to play Minecraft with me but I only have a bad phone that I can lend him for us to play local play. But if split-screen was added then we could play on my pc and we could have way more fun. Idk why this has not happened yet but Minecraft Bedrock (windows 10) needs this feature!

    Played Minecraft on a XBOX360 with my daughter for a few years now. Split screen. Today I payed 50€ for the Windows 10 Master Edition. Aaaand found out that it doesn´t have split screen. How is this even possible? OK, my fault for not checking before buying, but...

    Me and my sister play Minecraft together a lot. But since there is no split screen capability in this build we have to play on separate devices over a bad internet connection. Please add this feature.

    This really is a no brainer.. My kids are obsessed with minecraft and have spent countless hours on the xbox 360 and tablet, even phone versions, so when we got the PC version set up in our living room, we were dumbfounded as to why local multiplayer split screen wasn't supported... I assume there is a reason, but with a game as successful as this one, I am very surprised that this wasn't taken care of...

    This could sound great! But i have a Xbox One for SS (Split Screen) but i only use Multiplayer on Bedrock edition.

    I dont see why it wasn't imported into the game, the pc is the best to run this game on considering the fact that it doesnt lag as harshly as the console versions do when you add a second player please add 2 player support
