Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Dark Block

This block drains all light sources within a 5x5x5 area from it to a light level of 0! which means it will cause monsters to spawn easily within it. This block will not allow any light sources to be within the area which means torches will not be able to be placed within it. However this block should be an end-game block, and cannot be crafted, the only way to obtain this block is to find it in an end city chest.

    This should probably just be a reversed light block, that way it's not only not obtainable outside of creative but can also be used in adventure maps for lighting. Torches could be placed inside but their light level will decrease by the shadow level (or negative light level) of the block. It can be set to the max number to make torches ineffective. This would be great for fog, dark magic effects, ect.

    It should be super rare like found only in almost bedrock level and like 100x more rare than diamond
