Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Retrieving enchantment to get distant items (Trident)

  You know when you see that skeleton off in the distance minding his own business and you are like "Not today, buddy!"  You grab your trident and toss it across the lake and the hole that the charged creeper almost got you with just the night before.  Well you killed the skeleton and his loot is just sitting there and you are like well do I really need that bone that I've already got 2 full chests of.........YES...YES I DO!!  but the phantom is out and by the time you get to your bed and sleep and get back the bone may be gone.  Well, you can just get your (trident with the enchantment or boomerang-like weapon) and throw it and it goes and collect the loot.  It doesn't get the XP but just the loot.  

 Edit: Maybe the trident brings the loot back with it?

I know there have been many times I've lost items and can't find them that I could maybe used this and it could have gotten it.  There would be multiple situations that this weapon could be used for.

What does everyone else think?

    I just thought of this today, it should probably be called Retrieval though.
