I think it should rain, but not as commonly as other biomes.

What i mean by this is that theres like a 10% chance that the rain will actually fall instead of turn the sky dark.

I agree with this, it's weird and inaccurate that savannas don't get rain because they're wet tropical biomes in real life and are only dry in the winter

Rain should be a beacon enchantment, or there should be a new kind of beacon specifically for weather.
Being able to consistently trident around your base is something many players would aspire to

All memes aside, I like the fact it doesn't currently rain in desert/savannah biomes, but it would be fantastic if they had a (rare!) chance of experiencing heavy thunderstorms, and then some kind of bloom after. In real life, savannahs are arid but still have seasonal rains.

I don’t know about the savannah, but in the desert it definitely rains, although rarely. Here’s an IRL example:

In Sudan (North Africa, desert), once it rained for 4 hours straight and the ground was very muddy afterwards - I don’t think it rained since for a long time.

This shiuld only be a rare event. Mabey when the moon becomes full, then the next day, it rains in the Savannah..

Also dont forget sandstorms, mabey replace snow particles with sand particles. This will also affect visibility.

maybe when it rains in the biome, the grass can turn a lush, bright green instead of that dry orange-ish color.

Rain in Minecraft annoy most of the players. If you add Rain in Savanna, please add 2 new biomes where it never rains.

The number of posters who appear to not get the joke here is astounding.

Yes I would like a world option for those interested in going all the way to Africa to bless the rains. Those who do not care about blessed rains in Africa would not be forced to endure the plethora of memetic blessings.

Maybe if it's once in a blue moon, but that would require localised weather as well.

But they would be extremely rare so you REALLY have to bless the rains down in Africa.

Might I add in an achievement by the same name when you successfully fill a cauldron with rainwater in a savannah!

Haha! Honestly, while sort of dry, I feel that it is a bit odd for a biome with grass and trees not to have any rain. I feel like the savanna should be removed from the "no rain" biomes.

Maybe just during thunderstorms so rain is more of a "blessing" and also cos in africa it doesn't rain much in the grasslands

It should rain in the Savanah as it is dry but not a desert. Deserts are deserts, mesas are deserts... um... we also need more deserts. But anyways the savanah still has a lot of life and should have rain but less than normal.

One could utilize a special totem to bless these rains, causing crops to grow, friendly mobs and players to heal, and monsters to take damage.

This is reasonable. It could be changed so that only some of the rain cycles result in rain on the savanna.
