Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Elytra Enchantments

Well for these updates focus about the elytra...

Like for example remove the ability to use fire works. Add like ender dragon head rockets that have flight duration 1 to 5. Speed 2x to 3x. The speed will depend on how much glowstone is added when fueling the flight duration will be the same just with red stone. To make a rocket you need to combine a ender dragon head with 7 iron ingots and a red stone block. You would combine these rockets with your elytra to make it rocket elytra. You would fuel them up with Dragon Breath well or meat (dragons like meat). This is to actually make use of the ender dragon head.

Talking about enchantments for the elytra,

Something like flapping would make the elytra flap over time to adjust flight duaration by 1 maybe be like after 5 seconds so elytra jumping can still be a thing.

Or something like Trailing which leaves a trail depending what armor your wearing (leather colouring)

What do you think of it I think it would be a great update making the elytra less lame and add some fame!!

    Well, two reason.

     

    I think it’s a little OP, and maybe some people just haven’t come across it yet. Take me for example. I have 9 posts but the most votes one of them has is five.

     

    and also, this kinda reminds me of my Elytra Changes post.

    Hmm it’s not op it removes the ability of fire works which nerfs it. If you buy the elytra from somoene you’ll have to re fight the ender dragon plus get a dragon head. Just to add on you’ll have to risk your life for glowstone. Plus the trails will be really cool.

    I had recently thought about elytra enchantments. We have enchantments specifically for the trident and crossbow, but not elytra.

    We could have an enchantment that somewhat removes the need to use rockets. It propels itself, perhaps at the expense of more of its durability. It could work similarly to flying up with them in creative mode.

    Referring to your idea about the enchantments, I think you should be able to enchant your elytra with Glide 1, 2, and 3. The Glide enchantment would allow for a speed increase while you are flying. The way you obtain Glide would be to find a Glide Enchanting Book in an End City or an End Ship, similar to how you can only obtain Soul Speed through the nether loot and piglin bartering.

    this could work and maybe an enchantent for the elytra could be a storage module:a small storage for fireworks that would sit inside the elytra (only stores rockets gunpowder and paper) and a firework could be activated with the press of a button this could also have some minigame potential
