Highly Inappropriate People ruining the fun for kids ****SERIOUS***

My daughter and I are Minecraft fans and use it to spend quality time together. We love the games and Minecraft servers. Recently we noticed people creating or using blocks to write or build curse words and inappropriate content for kids. It's very upsetting and has to be taken care of. I don't know how it would be done but it has to be. There should be a way for us to report players that are creating an unsafe environment for kids and families. This is one of the reasons we took away Roblox from our computers.

    Minecraft is about playing with people and having to have all words sensors because one person and I mean one since NO ONE ELSE commented that they want this too is pathetic and just ruins the game. I think there should be kids edition where young kids like you and your daughter can hang out and pretend to grow up while the rest of us live in our undisturbed life. Your daughter has probably heard that language before, and so I don't think she really really REALLY needs this sensored. So no, not "***SERIOUS***" at all. Just a parent who doesn't know what happens outside.

    Honestly, I don’t think this is a problem for the devs. You can’t completely stop people from saying or building inappropriate stuff. This is a problem for the admins on the server. My suggestion is just staying on family-friendly servers or your own worlds.

    a problem for years even now, and worse

    I left vanilla for this reason. Sites like Hypixel's which have "build battle" and similar games that have basically just become a bunch of dumb kids (and sadly, adults) participating in a genital making contest. That's when I went *poof* and never looked back.

    Either join a respectable modded community that also hosts vanilla or cry in the corner, those are really your only choices. Servers with 90k+ userbase probably won't do much listening until a high profile "something" happens that forces them to do so. 

    Worse, they all have automated reporting systems and usually unpaid and definitely overworked admins running the few parts that are not automated. They don't care because when they get rid of one, twenty more of them show up in their place so fast it would make even the biggest flea and cockroach populations insanely jealous.

    Save yourself grief. Report, but don't hold your breath. In the meantime, you can play FTB ;o

    Better yet a way to mark some games as For Adults only or Adult content.
    It would prevent the issue entirely if folks want to build inappropriate things they can - but you don't need a 5 yo stumbling into it.

    Sure, we have chat reporting now, but I don’t think Mojang can do anything about inappropriate builds.

    Euh you can just play Bedrock edition or install plugins to prevent this if it happens on your server! That cannot be 100% safe a report because servers can simulate player behavior! Replays cannot help either, if you are the operator just do "/ban USERNAME REASON" If you aren't the owner of the server just contact the owner for the issue :)
