You should also consider making the abyssal gravel drop shark teeth with the same frequency as flint drops from gravel in the overworld. Also, would Abyssal gravel fall up or down? Would items fall or float? Would elytra work in the Abyss? Maybe you could craft essence of darkness into a sponge-like block that subtracts light levels a similar way to how a torch adds them. You could craft them into the block the same way you craft a honey block. Also consider making greek fire an item crafted from the aquatic gel and flint and steel, separate from the arrow of greek fire. TNT ignited with greek fire or arrows of greek fire would explode and cause damge underwater. Essence of darkness could be brewed further into a blindness potion, allowing the blindness effect to be obtainable. Glowing liquid could be brewed further into a potion of glowing to allow this effect to be applied easier to the player or a crowd of entities, rather than having to shoot each one.

I love the Idea of new Dimensions and I am voting for this, but this kinda gives me some Terraria vibes.

I feel like you should not be lit with a heart of the sea. I think it would be better if it would be lit with an exclusive item from the end. So you cant just go to this OP dimension without playing the game for a while. I really like the idea though!

In this idea you're changing so much about the game. The idea that attacks go through armor is not how the armor systems work, even for things they should work for. The design of this dimension is poorly put together and would make the game feel like a mod pack. This isn't what Minecraft about.

Maybe the sharks could be aqua sharks based on hammerhead sharks but blue and can activate stuff like bubble columns but going around the shark when it gets hurt. Because they say no sharks unless they are fantasy sharks. They also say nothing from the mob vote so just make the kraken like the one in the kraken boss suggestion but with these mechanics. Then this is a completely acceptable idea by mojang and I love it.

The kraken boss suggestion is separate

Also no Redstone alternatives meaning no pearl dust Redstone systems :(((( so remove the pearl dust Redstone stuff and you are good.

Instead of being able to craft the portal blocks you should have to find it in the sea temples or add another type of structure underwater that would have the portal. Could be merfolk in like an underwater city or something.

Maybe there could be another boss in this dimension, the Megalodon Shark?

This is an amazing idea, but Mojang said no sharks. Ever. If you want to progress further you may want to think of an alternative to the hammerhead.

Another thing is that the portal to the abyss sounds pretty easy to make. Maybe the core of the portal blocks is a heart of the sea and you activate it with a Nautilus shell? I feel like this would make the abyss much harder to get to and really challenge the player.

Nonetheless, you certainly have my vote!

This just sounds a little too hard. You would still lose air before you defeat the Kraken, so that makes defeating it harder.

The crafting recipe for the doll should also include a totem of undying (Bottom middle of crafting table) so you have further reason to explore other pieces of content! I love this idea and 100% vouch for this!

Easily one of the most creative ideas I’ve seen on here. Frankly, fingers crossed for you and this idea mate, I’d love to have more reason to travel into the ocean.

I love the idea of the abyss biome. However I think 1:16 ratio travel is a bit overpowered and kinda makes the nether useless. Also I think a lot of your ideas are melting a little into Terraria. Perhaps you don't summon the Kraken and you just find it in a structure? Most of your ideas were amazing though and I'd love to see them in game!

Ehh, this is average, but the one thing that gets on my nerves is pearls. If pearls are apparently only slightly better than diamonds, there no point in spending real life weeks searching for mazes for a chance to get a few pearls. Plus, having the hoe do damage is useless. Having a fishing rod is useless. Redstone dust? For how rare pearls are... useless. Don't try to expand that much on such a rare material. Remember that you're trying to get something actually added into the game, not give a commision for someone to create a modpack.
