    This could be used to make building so much easier! This would even make things look more natural.

    This would be useful for creative builders as well as mapmakers, since you could set areas of water to swamp to give them a dirty appearance. At the moment, you need to use external tools for this.

    I see it just like the /forceload add command. Which means, you change the biomes per chunks. As they are. That'd be the most optimal.

    I’d suggest suggest a set of biome related commands such as;

    /setbiome (changes biome related events within the biome that a coordinated is within)

    /setbiomeweather(changes the weather properties of a biome a coordinate is in disabling rain or enabling snow etc)

    /setbiomemobs(changes what mobs will spawn in the biome)

    the names of these commands are obviously not the best but you get the idea, also there would probably be more of them.

    Wouldnt you need to type 2 different coords and then choose the biome you want so that It would change the biome between the coords.

    With the vertical biomes in the game now it would be great to have this so that you can play around with the different biome colours in your builds like a swamp biome for a sewer or a badlands for an autumn area and you could have it be done automatically using command blocks. If we did get this there's one thing I think we all know must be done, bedrock edition water colours need ported to java but that'd pr

    That would help map building extrem, I know people use map painter but for bedrock players it would help. +if it would be ingame please make it like the /fill command so: /setbiome ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:swamp .

    If it's added, I think it should add the biomes by chunk (for made it "natural").

    Huge win for Skyblock / Minimalist style maps / challenges.

    This would be amazingly useful. As an avid datapack, world, and map maker, this has always been annoying to deal with, whether with skyblock maps or something else, it would add more maneuverability to Minecraft, and I always have to use some 3rd party editor to change the biome.

    make it like the fill command instead so you can set a cube of biome

    This would be helpful for map-makers, allowing them to control whether it snows or rains or spawns specific mobs! Voted!

    /biome replace ~ ~ ~ <biome-name>
    replaces the biome that you are in to be whatever you want no matter the shape and size

    Example
    /biome replace 36 80 45 badlands
    so like lets say your in a spruce forest and you want to change the whole biome to badlands
    and thereyago

    I believe you would mean like this command
    /setbiome [oldBiomeHandling: ReplaceMode] {selectedBiome: OldBiome}

    also /setstructure would be so good cause things like fortresses, witch huts and ocean temples have different spawn conditions than any of the biomes.

    it'd be helpful for survival challenges like the popular micro border ones without having to rely on spawners which can be accidentally destroyed or only spawn one kinda mob in an easily exploited way.

    I also think that this command is very useful command. Command is very useful for many maps
    I also think that we need a command to make usual chunks slime chunks.
