Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Concrete and Terracotta having Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I really don’t like how you can’t craft concrete slabs and stairs. That basically means that we don’t have ANY colorful slabs and stairs. I really wish Mojang will add this because that would allow people to be more creative with what they build.

Edit: As you guys have mentioned in the comments, terracotta could use it as well.

Edit 2: They could also use walls, that could expand build options even more, and when it comes to build options, the more the merrier.

    This is great because when you're trying to build something, sometimes you want more detail with stairs and slabs, but you have to use other stairs and slabs that don't match your build.

    There isn't much to say here that other people haven't. I just want to chip in and say that this won't only bee good for modern builds, it will be good for organics and adding additional texture in terraforming projects in niche situations.

    when i build things with concrete i use quartz slabs so i will like concrete slabs, concrete stairs and concrete addaed

    I like this idea because in all my white concrete builds, I'd have to use quartz stairs in which the colors do not match and it makes my build look, well, off-color. So I think that this block expansion would be a huge help to all the gamers that have this building problem as well!

    This is a vital need in the game.  There are so many choices for other blocks but very very few for stairs.  I hope you'll consider adding this, Mojang, as we're coming up on 5 years and 18,400 votes from the original request.  For builders, it takes so much fiddling to add definition to builds without these in the game and they shouldn't require mods or plugins to make it happen.

    Omg this gave me an idea what if you could make terracotta bricks, and use them to make different coloured pots. It has the same crafting recipe as a normal pot. I would also appreciate large pots for bigger flowers or more smaller ones, maybe craft it like a minecart.

    Sounds GREAT! I always get annoyed when making stuff that I cant use those blocks, more types of slabs and stairs would be amazing, especially these.
