Volcano Biome

A hot Biome that has Lava, Magma Block, and cooled lava block. These mountains would be the tallest of the game, with the lava level at Y150 and crater edge at Y200. This volcano will be huge and take up the entire Biome. The Volcano would erupt every so often on one side. It would have many lava falls. Villages exist on the side of the crater that is not on the eruption side. Snow also exists on the non eruption side. The eruption side has way more lava falls. The volcanic crater is open air like it has erupted before. The villager homes are made with cooled lava block(a solid, black block). MOJANG PLEASE USE THIS IDEA!!!!!!!!!!

    The water would be dark black that is not transparent. Flammable blocks randomly set on fire.

    Also beds should explode, but lava can spawn ocassionaly instead of fire. And the explosion is stronger, thus, any entity caught in the explosion should be set on fire.

    I'm for a Volcano Biome that could just randomly appear anywhere in the world (similar to rivers). But I'm absolutely against it erupting. That would just add unnecessary worries about your stuff. Not really in the spirit of Minecraft. Also what would happen if you mine the entire volcano? Would it still erupt out of nothing? Would the game register that and stop eruptions?
    Other than the eruption I would welcome a volcano biome

    I think it be cool if you could find cole and iron and even diamonds in the volcano more often than you would anywhere else and the ores get better and there be more of them as you clime up the volcano, and maybe the villiges by the volacano could even have better loot.

    Me parece muy buena idea (quitando que haya aldeas alrededor y que haya bloques de lava enfriados (obsidiana, que ya existe)), además, se pueden usar los bloques de toba volcánica para el volcán.

    This is a great idea, and I think one thing that could improve it is a new type of ore that is only in this biome on the erupting lava side that can be crafted into armor that's roughly iron armor defense but stops lava from burning you for a few seconds.

    Just a bit shorter with crater edge at y:150, no eruptions, no snow and no villages would make this perfect. It should be able to spawn completely surrounded by jungle to give it that tropical feel.

    I think this is a great idea. This would not be too difficult if coded with existing mechanics.
    These eruptions would simply be lava source blocks spawning around the top layers on the side of the mountains. Real volcanoes often have tunnels and cave systems that connect to the outside. Therefor, an eruption doesn't always include flying rocks but is often lava pouring out from the mountain sides. By increasing the lava flow speed within the entire biome once eruption event starts, could simulate increased temperatures. Post eruption could have ash downpour, which is basically snow piling up. For coding complexity, not too difficult as it is really applying the snow downpour with a different particle texture, and the effects of powdered snow replaced with the burn damage tick from magma as long as the player touches the ash. Coding the lava is also really not too difficult, as it only requires increased spawn chances with higher y levels and less distance from the centre of the crater.
