Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

One thing that no one has talked about yet: diamond farms. You can get diamond tools and armor from villagers, and this would allow players to make "diamond farms". With good zombie villager trading hall, you could get multiple diamonds with a stick. I kind of think that those would be overpowered, especially on smp's where diamonds are money. It would make diamonds a lot less rare, and things that would normally be very impressive (like a diamond beacon for instance) would be commonplace. I think that this should totally be added. (We've all been a victim of the accidental shift click) but maybe after you craft something you have like a minute to uncraft it? I'm not sure.

An enchantment recycler would be great too!

You would put in your enchanted tool/armor/enchanted book with 2+ enchantments along with unenchanted books and (for some XP) you could separate the enchantments onto books, or maybe even onto other tools!

So, the update would include an uncrafting table and a re-enchanter.

Should return 100% of blocks on items without permanent / with full durability.

Are we allowed to add our suggestions in comments? One I made last year would fit well with this one.

    Call it a scrapping table.

This is exactly what we need! All those times I crafted something that was right next to the thing I wanted to craft I wasted  my materials on the wrong thing! This is especially painful when it's something like diamonds. This is a perfect way to not make it over powered (like so you do pay the price of mis-crafting, but you still don't get a complete rip-off) this would be a great edition for the game!

This would be awsome to have in minecraft and I like the idea of how you dont just get everything back because most mods with this that I see has it so you get everything back which is completely overpowered.

    cheesy catman good idea

but how will we actually make the uncrafting table or whatever it is called

I think this is a great idea. Having not all of your materials returned is a much better idea than most of the other ‘uncrafting table’ ideas out there that give you all of the materials back.

Yes, I can't go to the nether and I really want potions so what do i do? I take 2 brewing stands from a village, recycle 1 and put the blaze powder in the other!

I’ve had the same sort of idea, just with a few adjustments. Firstly, anything with durability can be deconstructed, but for a cost… either for it’s materials(enchanted books included) and at the cost of XP (cost depends on materials, enchantments and durability) or for XP at the cost of the materials that are being destroyed. If this is a good idea, please tell me

We already have smelting down items in a furnace, it would be better to improve that mechanic, rather than creating something new.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure that Steve is just really waistful, a minecart and helmet cost the same amount of iron but are definitely not as much in return, a helmet irl doesn't use over half cubic metre in real life so I'm pretty sure the furnace is actually fair, same with stairs, I'm pretty confident that he messes the thing up a couple of times until he's left with 4. And to be fair, it's impressive that he can make this stuff to begin with considering that he's only using an old saw, hammer, and twesers.

It’s just another way to cheat because what if a diamond pic is almost broke then u can in craft it and craft it again then u got a new one without mining more dimonds

Why not let it be a recycling machine like in the game Stardew Valley.

I would LOVE a recycler in the game. I've got 3 chests full of saddles from fishing so much, and have no use for them.

The big problem is, when I'm not listening enogh, and make 64 boats. or plate... etc. Its very good, if I can do it back.

This would really let me feel like Rick Sanchez running up to village and grabbing things to uncraft to recraft, or in a mineshaft and uncrafting the rails for iron. I think it should be a mid to late game (un)crafting table and should return less than half the items used to craft what is being recycled. Maybe the recipe requires a couple diamonds and something from the nether? This would be so cool and I don't see many balancing reasons why not to add this. Would greatly enhance the whole crafting part of minecraft.

Maybe the 0.7 could be a random number between 1.0 and 0.1? Other than that, great suggestion! you have my upvote.

It would be nice when the Uncraftingtable were automatically. So you can place it on the start of your warehouse with a hopper over and under it. So you need less sorters when all crafted or unstackable items are uncrafted.

Let us recycle leather armour! Please! I don't like just throwing all the leather armour I find away! 😭

I think it would be good to be able to recycle old iron and gold stuff, just in case you craft something you don't want.

That's a good idead for sure! I just think it should return around 35% - 45% of the crafting items (except with tools and armor) and cost experience, as otherwise it could turn to be an overpowered way to save storage space. Also, the "uncrafting" table could me made out of copper, so it gives more use to the ore.

YES I hate it when I accidentally craft the wrong thing, and then all of my materials go to waste
