Bear varieties

I posted this on the old feedback and I'm posting this again just in case. We need varieties for bears. For example grizzly could be spawning in taigas, pandas in jungles.

    I completely agree with this. Polar Bears and Pandas are both pretty useless but added much-needed unique animals to the cold biomes and jungle biomes,

    But what Brown Bears?

    Forest biomes are extremely common but practically empty of interesting animals apart from bees.

    How cool would it be to be able to feed a brown bear and have it lead you to a bee nest? Or for them to raid beehives for their honey similarly to how rabbits attack crops?

    I totally agree. they would look great with the cave and cliffs update, we can also find them near rivers.

    • Grizzlies are hostile.
    • We can find them in cave and mountains.
    • We can calm down grizzlies with honey or a honeycomb nearby.
    • Make bears able to breed with salmon.
    • Grizzlies attack honeycombs and goats.
    • Bearskin drop.
    • Make bears for more variety and difficulty.

    Bears should only be as tameable As foxes at most. And if so, after you kidnap the cub, you have to feed it or it will become agressive towards you.

    I want to tame brown, black, or cave bears with honey. I want to ride them into caves for protection against the warden.

    black bears could spawn in dark oak forests and brown bears could spawn in birch forests.

    Maybe when you kill a bear, it drops a "bear claw" that you can use to brew a "aggression potion" that wards off all close range mobs for a couple min???

    I think it would make sense that bundles were made of rabbit's hide and backpacks from bears fur

    Having a bear specifically for one biome is super boring, especially when the biome isn't a very common one either, I want to see bears in forest also

    PLEASE add new variations of wolves, in real life there are MANY different types theres Arctic wolves, Mexican wolves, Timber wolves, Tindra wolves etc etc. Wolves we're announced in the game 1.4 beta patch and hasn't been updated since I feel we NEED different breeds as soon as possible. On the topic of animals we NEED more then just 2 bears!! Grizzly bears would be nice aswell as black bears, as someone previously commented it would be nice to just have a hear spawn egg and according to each biome is what breed they would be. Moving on another suggestion the Oak and birch biome should be updated!! The trees arent anything like they should be there so tiny unless they spawn a certain way PLEASE make them larger then they are now. Last but not least PLEASE ADD SHADERS FOR FREE AND MAKE IT GOOD!!! Adding to that moving leaves, grass and water!!! Thank you.

    Brown bears could spawn around bee nests and could drop honeycomb, like how pandas drop bamboo. The could also attack nearby bees by lunging up with their paws.

    These bears are an amazing idea! Imagine the brown bears foraging for honey and salmon. Maybe even sweet berries. 💜

    Bears should be more common and hostile at night but they should be tameable with fish like wolves in a way there should also be dire wolves that are always aggressive. There could also be snow wolves that are tameable but always aggressive at night unless tamed of course

    Along with Grizzly's could Black Bears also spawn in in regular forests, birch, and maybe flower forests. possible unrelated but these new bears (specifically a brown bear, black bear, or both) should have an interaction with Bees and Bee Nests

    I feel a Brown Bears would be a good next choice, being another well known bear. They could have different types based on subspecies depending on where they spawn, like Kodiak Bears spawning on cold islands, or Grizzlys and other similar brown bears spawning in taigas, or even Gobi brown bears spawning in deserts. Each variation brown bear could have a unique feature, like Grizzlies having large amounts of health since real ones are quite durable and Kodiaks being near polar bear size and be exceptionally great at hunting salmon and berries. I'm not quite sure what others could do. Maybe the extinct Atlas bear could also be represented somehow. They could forage and hunt animals for food, open chest with food inside to steal, and maybe even take food from Mob and player drops. Maybe they could scare off near by hostile mobs as well,  but also attack they player if they got too close. These and Black bears (if also added)could drop bear meat since both species are eaten irl, but not a lot and they meat would take a long time to cook and will make they player sick if eaten raw, though I don't know if this is a good or bad idea to even give them drops at all.

    Hi,

    Yesterday my son asked me why in Minecraft there are PANDA and POLAR bears, but ther isn´t Gryzzlies. He was looking for gryzzlies for a long time in forest biomas and tell me "Perhaps the grizzlie bear is less important? " ;)

    We would like Gryzzlies bears in Forest Biomas.

    Grizzlies in taigas, plains, groves, and (rarely) tundras, stony peaks, snowy slopes, frozen peaks

    Black Bears in forests (rarely), groves, taigas, plains (rarely), stony peaks, snowy slopes, frozen peaks

    Spectacled Bears in all mountain biomes very rarely

    They already did pandas but I definitely think another bear should be added I don’t really agree with more than just one more because I already think there are way too many hostile mobs but I really would like to see a grizzly or a black bear that eats berries and fish. I think having lots of different animations for it especially for eating would make it look absolutely amazing

    One thing they could do is play into the fantasy Bear.  Mostly solitary but good beings, forest protectors.  A brown Bear could attack ANYTHING within 2 blocks of its cubs.  And you can gain a family's trust by offering a PLATTER, crafted with a gold ingot, a mushroom, a salmon, beef, berries and honey.  Then it could act as a natural defense.  Short "vision" but incredible power and health.  Bears being an altruistic tank is already a trope, no need for any drops.  Maybe don't even name it Bear, like how in old times people refused to say its name out of fear and respect.
