I posted this on the old feedback and I'm posting this again just in case. We need varieties for bears. For example grizzly could be spawning in taigas, pandas in jungles.

Aye Bears are a crucial part of any forest. How else are ye' going to run through the forest with a grizzly creature the size of a dirt shack chasing you
Brown bears eats honeycomb.
Black Bears, Grizzlies, Sloth Bears, Spectacled Bears, Pizzlies, Sun Bears, Cave Bears.

es una idea excelente
I suggested something similar to this except I wanted two verieties: grizzly and Black bears, and also wanted some specific qualities on those bears (black bears raiding bee nests, different sizes, etc.) I highly agree with this idea!!
Brown bears and black bears would be interesting new animals, in addition to the current polar bears and pandas. You’ve probably never heard of these, but sun bears, sloth bears, and spectacled bears would be be great additions as well.
It would be cool if grizzlybears live in caves in the mountains and would eat honey from beehives
Grizzly bears could be found in more colder regions such as the mountains, snowy taiga, and taiga. The black bear on the other hand should be found in any other forest really.
Pandas are great, but the polar bears were very underwhelming.
I would love to see both brown and black bears, they could eat berries from berry bushes, try and catch fish, and be aggressive if you got very close. They could also rub themselves on trees and drop fur.WE NEED GRIZZLYS
Maybe a black bear and bears spawning in tree biomes and be neutral like the existing polar bear
Make it so you can tame it with honey
Love it
I think we could use grizzly bears and black bears and brown bears
Similar to foxes, rabbits, and villagers their skin would depend on the biome they spawned in, such as black bears spawning in forests, wooded mountains, and taigas, and grizzly (brown) bears spawning in taigas and snowy taigas.
Bears should also be attracted to berries and bee nests.
We really do need grizzly bears. If we could breed them, we could use fish and berries.
Grizzly bears should live in the mountains while black bears live in the taiga. I think grizzly/black bears should be passive unless attacked, with cubs, or feel too close to the player. Maybe they can lead players to food sources, but you must follow carefully, otherwise they will get scared and attack.
The bears should be neutral(hostile mobs have to be fantasy).
Black bears
Less aggressive(if you hit them they will run, but if you chase them they will then attack you)
Spawn in oak and birch forests, and flower forests.
They will take honey from bee hives if it is full, breaking the bee hive and making the bees angry.
The bees can not hurt them(they have a thick coat IRL).
They will attack sheep, cows, and salmon for food, and will eat the remains.
They will eat berries off the bushes, and are unaffected by their spikes.
After eating they will not forage for honey or berries, or kill any animals for 1 game day.
They can climb up trees and sit in the leaves.
Solitary, but has a chance to spawn with up to two cubs.
Grizzly bears
Aggressive(will attack when provoked)
To provoke, go near its babies, stay nearby for to long, or go near it when it is eating.
Grizzlies will forage for berries and kill salmon, cows, and sheep.
After eating will not forage or kill for 1 game day.
Will spawn in taiga and extreme hills.
They will attack wolves and foxes(wolves will fight back but foxes will run).
Solitary, but can spawn with up to two cubs.
Extra info
Cubs are passive and will eat with their parent
When black bear parents eat honey the cubs will sit down and watch.
Cubs will play with each other or their parent, rolling around together
since they added pandas in jungles, hopefully they add Black bears and Grizzly bears too for the taiga and forests.
Black bears would also be cool <3
They got the Pandas in jungles. At least I have seen.
i would still love to see this in 2020!
Me gustaría que los osos polares se pudieran domesticar dándoles cualquier tipo de pescado o un pescado en específico y que sean como los lobos que ataquen a quien ataques o te ataquen y que se les regenere su vida con pescado. Gracias.
Yes,more bear varities would be great too, because it would spice up the forests and other biomes and make them more appealing to look at,for example adding black and brown bears to the taiga forest,or the spruce tree forest would make the forest look more lively, rathen than a plain boring one.
Yes, that would be awesome! I was always wondering, why there is only 1 variety of a bear, is so, then there should be others too, or just it doesen't make sense then, if there are orange & white foxes, so we only need at least 1 more variety!
Black bears will spawn in taiga biomes. They'll mainly feed the berry bushes, but won't hesitate to hunt animals for meat. Grizzly/Brown bears will spawn in taiga and oak forest biomes. They'll feed off the honey from bee hives. Bears will have the same behavior as the Polar Bear. Neutral until provoked.
Idea: Tameable grizzly bear using salmon
Step one:Tame grizzly bear using salmon. Step two:Ride grizzly bear. Step three:? Step four:Profit.
Do Black Bears to. And Bears will Attack Bee nests
