City Biomes

This rare biome would only exist in places that have lots of jobs

- beside the ocean because of the fish

-in the forest as there is farming and animals

- anywhere that has many ores

- anywhere beautiful for a tourist stop Ex. Mesa Bryce, Extreme Hills, and Mooshroom

This Biome could be beside any of these Biomes.

It would have roads, sidewalks, 100-200 block tall 10-20 story downtown buildings, many more types of villagers, cars, huge farms, and mob free. Please do this Mojang!!!!

    I feel like this would be too modern for Minecraft.  I don't like the idea of cars either.

    I would like to see them add small houses though.

    This just isn't fitting in Vanilla Minecraft but more of a map or mod, but at least villages are getting an overhaul on the plus side and they might be a bit bigger.

    No this wouldn't work. Maybe an extreme village thing where there could be a small castle with a ruler, but vehicles don't fit in vanilla "fantasy" style Minecraft.

    rather then a futuristic city, why not just combine lots of villages together (maybe even add villages on top of each other with stairs to get to different layers)? i mean thats how citys naturally form anyway and it sems like a cool concept (tough they would need to be even rarer then regular villages). also rather then having buildings of hundreds of blocks high lets keep the amount of floors to a decent amount (i dont think villagers can build a 10 story tall building, do you? try 4-5)

    I feel like this could work, but instead of it being a modern city, it should be more of a larger village than anything. Like it should have more detailed and taller buildings, but in the same style as current villages

    I like the general concept, but it is way too modern right now.Maybe a 1700s ish city, but not 21st century for sure.Here's my idea. For a city type biome. Let's just call them colonies.

    Basics

    Colonies would be rather rare, and would be a biome within a biome. They would be much larger than a regular village, and slightly more advanced. The area around the biome would have a higher chance of generating regular villages than other areas nearby.I

    Where they would generate

    Colonies would generate inside plains biomes, especially ones that are near the ocean. They would also generate on rivers.

    What they would look like

    Colonies would use the familiar cobblestone and oak as materials along with more advanced ones like birch wood and brick.Streets would be cobblestone instead of gravel. There would be a blacksmith, church , houses and all the other buildings seen in villages, but with elements of these new materials in their design. There would also be 2 new structures.

    Rowhouses

    Long rectangular structures with multiple houses, with a brick foundation and cobblestone walls.

    Towers

    Buildings generally only generated twice in colonies,in the center, ranging from 3 floors to 6 floors. They would be made from mostly brick and birch, with some cobblestone. These buildings would be filled with bookshelves and the occasional chest filled with loot.

    Villagers

    Same old villagers as in villages, just in greater numbers.

    I like the idea but only if it's medieval themed. Modern junk doesn't fit with Minecraft at all.

    Cities are too modern for Minecraft. I don't mind medieval-style cities, but modern cities contrast with the medieval/fantasy vibe the game has.
