Player Locator Bar

This new feature that you guys are planning on adding is not necessary, asked for, or even that smart. I also have several concerns about it. Firstly, enchanting and levels are very important, especially in multiplayer worlds. Are we able to see the amount of experience we have? What is the range of the bar? Are we able to see our levels? Why are you adding such a strange and unasked for feature, instead of many many other features that are better, more useful, and actually wanted?

    yeah instead of wasting their time on this useless feature Mojang should at least start planning for the end update

    the locator bar sucks, example: a player, let's name him Mark, it's playing minecraft 1.22 bedrock with friends Jhonny and Steve.

    Steve uses the player locator bar to track Mark, go to his house and grief

     

    THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH PLAYER BAR.

    i think that Player Location feature is very invasive and unbalanced. it gives griefers and unsavory users a way to stalk targets. it shouldn't be left up to server owners to disable. should be per user client or based on friends whitelist

    It would be interesting if it was linked to an item and both players would be holding the same one, similar to maps. 

    Maybe players with a compass, as long as those have the same name.
