I hope they see this because they are just ruining Minecraft

Please keep 1.21 modern mechanics in the game. The changes that are wanting to be implemented can/will be a MASSIVE separation between communities once more, and most/all mechanics are not game breaking. They have brought the community together in different aspects, and allow for a competitive scene in parkour and PvP to really excel. Not only that, but these mechanics ("glitches") have been around for so long, that to remove it would be similar to that of removing the ability to go onto the nether roof. Extravagant.

I hope that this can help in support, as I excessively want these changes to NOT happen.

Thank you, and I hope this effort continues.

I thought with the abolishment of the mob votes mojang was actually listening to their community more but I guess I was wrong.

Mojang get your head out of your Nether Dimension and start actually fixing real issues like the game's performance and 90% of Bedrock edition's code, stop "fixing" decade-old features that only make the game more annoying and grindy to play. You aren't a P2W game, as much as you like to pretend Bugrock is, you don't need to maximize how bad the game feels to play.

its not a bug anymore its a core feature

This 'fix' is so unnecessary when it's been in the game for more than a decade. It rather hurt more by keeping this fix rather than helping. I don't know if they would revert the 'fix' back to what it used to because it seems like Mojang starting to stray away from what the fans ask. If this got keep there will be another split again but it includes parkour player and pvp.

yes this really needs to be reverted because some things just make the game unique, if they keep removing stuff like this its just gonna be like another cheap minecraft knockoff

when a bug has been in the game for over a decade, its not a bug. its a feature. you cant have such an old bug patched like this because it breaks so many things. please revert it.

I also heard that the "sprint sneaking" is going to be fixed

is this true or does anybody know something about it?

    please reverse this.

it's going to kill strafing, completely nuking 1.9+ pvp and will create an even bigger divide in the pvp/competitive community. more players will turn back to 1.8 combat and 1.9+ pvp servers will cease updating to maintain decade-old mechanics, creating a new 1.22+ divide. it's akin to removing the water bucket clutch, a bug that became a well-used feature. there would be no benefits aside from "maintaining realism" but at the cost of the game's quality-of-life.

if the bug doesn't break the game or is a decade old, please don't touch it!!

I know the company wants to move towards a cleaner and more polished game and that's fine but a part of minecraft's charm is the old bugs that people have discovered, learned and adapted to. removing them helps achieve this bug-less goal, yes, but it also removes the nostalgic character the game has.

there are many other bugs that negatively impact the game. this isn't one of them, so please leave it be.

It is never a good idea to nerf player movement. It's just bad. Every time. I don't care if it's in bedrock. Change bedrock if anything but slowing down this game which is already on the verge of being monotonous is so thoroughly the wrong choice. We don't care if you don't put it in the changelog its a glaring issue and we all noticed. I cannot stress enough that Minecraft is already a game which has multiple mechanics which waste the player's time.  The community has unanimously told you this is the wrong choice.

"Fixing" a glitch that causes little to no impact for normal players simply for the sake of fixing a glitch is bad practice.
Does the glitch impact typical/normal gameplay in a meaningful way? Is it obtrusive?
No, it's not. And these glitches have been around for so long that they have become a normal utilization of small to medium speedrunning/pvp communities within Minecraft. Fixing this glitch provides no positive impact, and only serves to make the game less creatively expressive.

This is SO crappy imo! qwq
This "bug" wasn't even exploiting anything, not like duplication, it was just helpful and fun for parkour!

Why not have a game rule FixDiagonalMaths = false that you can set to true in world settings? I feel like this just fixes it and would apply easy like multiply by 1 or 0 if true or false to the modifier number in some way that if FDM is false the modifier is nullified and the maths work like classic? Maybe call it ClassicPhysics instead?

please revert you cannot remove it when it has bee in the game for 15 years. This became a feature and if the jump community is still here it's because of this "glitch" + this is not hurting anything in the game you wont use it exept for jumping.

This doesn't change anything for casual players and ruins things for competitive players. What is it that anyone gains from this?
