These bugs may as well be features. You will destroy huge aspects of the community by patching these.

this effects every player, casual or not. everyone builds in this game at some point, and this makes building structures more tedious. please revert this change.

As someone who has done Minecraft parkour since I started playing the game it really disappoints me that the physics of parkour will be changed. I personally think that this would do more harm then good and really hurt the parkour and pvp communities. Mojang thank you for bringing us Minecraft but please keep these features.

The best part is it's not a bug, the game works like this because of quake. Notch liked quake, so he made the movement similar, the max fov is even called "quake pro." With this update the quake-like movement is gone, it is not, was not, and will never be a bug. This isn't a fix this is a fundamental feature change.

Minecraft will destory the pvp community and parkour community if this is permanent

Don't fix things that were never broken to begin with you absolute dwarfs. This game has existed since 2009 and now you decide to "fix" a "bug" that wasn't ever considered a bug to begin with. No wonder people still play on 1.8, no wonder the old minecraft audience wants nothing to do with this game anymore. Half of the shit you do these days is completely useless. I've been upset about the state of minecraft for a while, but this movement mechanic changing is the tip of the ice berg for me. Yall messed up.

Fully agree, some people play minecraft just for the things listed in this, and now that its getting changed many people are gonna have to stay at older versions which means this will be the next 1.9

Please Please please Mojang, don't this will ruin more than you fix, if this idea is for parity just add it to the bedrock edition, this change would be awful for almost all players, no matter if they are in the competitive scene or not!

I do not get it Mojang, especially because others like Cestele and Trackmania (from my very limited understanding) have kept movement "bugs" because they realize that communities see these "bugs" as markers for what makes movements in these games unique rather than a mere flaw to be fix. And I do not understand why Mojang would want to take away a part of Minecraft that makes it unique; Mojang from this action do not even seem to understand it.

See I just don't get why Mojang is doing this. I suck af at bridging (i can only classic shift bridge) and now it's even worse. Why???

Bro, this fix is so trash... I used this diagonal speed glitch in bedwars bridging all the time, and this hurts my feelings that you did this, Mojang. Please... add the bug back to the game.

This is not a bug, this is an unintended feature.
