I don't want hackers in the small servers I enjoy and play because mojang decided to make it so we can't see PDB files

If PDB is removed, than my whole modding career will have to be soley for Java players because it would be too much for me to mod Bedrock.

As a Java player I intimately know the enormous benefits that come with having an untethered modding community. There's a whole host of reasons for why I don't like Bedrock, but I still don't want it to run itself into the ground—and with every update it seems to do that regardless. Please, for goodness sake, just make one decision that isn't 100% focused on quick cash and build some goodwill with your playerbase. It's abundantly clear that Bedrock version will never be on the same quality as Java, so do the right thing and give devs the PDB files to fix your mess; it's the least you could do.

Give the bedrock edition the oportunity to use their creativity without frontlines, just as you always say in your marketing.

If this means microsoft trying to unñush the modding of its games starting from the best selling one ever, i want to know if java will be next even if its mostly imposible.

We dont care what the investors think about us or your money, we want our game. OUR GAMES, both Java and Bedrock as we are a community.

Please Mojang, you arent in your best moment, at least hear the community.. for once :(

Java player over Bedrock, but Minecraft's strength is it's user-customisation and manipulation. To hamstring the more immediately accessible version of the game in this regard would be excessively damaging to the game.

minecraft is about creating new things, so give modders the power to create.

I agree, pdb files are so important!

While I don't play Bedrock much, I do know that the exclusion of PDB/symbol information would damage or eliminate the ability of server owners to add advanced features to their servers. Not only would servers be less engaging, but they would be easily broken by cheaters, or worse, undiscovered/unpatched exploits. If this change goes through, I imagine it might destroy the Bedrock server community and drive players away to the Java Edition, which is more moddable but has no cross-platform support and degraded performance*.

PDB files are integral for the Bedrock multiplayer ecosystem. It's better with the system as it is now. Please keep them available, don't remove them.

Mods are one of the most wonderful elements of Java. Don't take that away from bedrock Microsoft.

I do not play Minecraft Bedrock Edition, but I do understand code concepts, and from what I can tell, the PDB files are essentially parts of the decompiled source code. This is vital to modding and any third-party edits for any software, and without it, any changes to the source code could take months or more to find and document, and then possibly be changed again.

Please continue providing these files, Mojang. Bedrock may not be focused on modding nearly as much as Java, but it does still have a modding community, and these files are a vital part of it.

Even though I'm not in the bedrock community, I think this is a great idea. I've seen a YouTube video detailing that servers will break in 1.21 on BE due to this issue.

If I can mod my Java version, there's zero reason I shouldn't be able to mod my Bedrock version. It shows a growing lack of care for your community that made this game what it is.
