Mojang and Microsoft, what are you doing?

As the post above describes, in the preview version of Bedrock Edition's server pack for 1.21.10, all PDB files have been removed in opposite of the communities long ongoing request for full PDB files. This change was silenced and not mentioned in any of the versions patch/release notes. Myself and many others are not sure if you (Microsoft/Mojang) are aware of how drastic and severe the actions you are taking regarding "fixing bugs" and "stopping exploits" is when you remove PDB files. The impact for standalone Bedrock servers (those who are not in a partnership program with Microsoft/Mojang) and community made modifications for the game (excluding exploits) is severe. A large majority of server plugin creators use the PDB files to fix bugs and prevent exploits in their plugins to allow standalone servers to have a better experience without requiring a large team to handle each individual problem. Many "mod" creators are also drastically affected by this change due to not having access to the officially supported and developed Bedrock Edition protocol documentation (as of right now). Projects such as BDSX, LeviLamina and Amethyst (BDSX and LeviLamina being around for years while Amethyst being relatively new) have either been cancelled or have ended support for future versions.

Mojang and Microsoft, we as a community beg of you to revert this change and allow the developers of the Bedrock Edition community to develop once again.

Let's be honest - no documentation effort will ever replace good old PBDs. You want to improve security by hiding things - this doesn't work, threat actor are very often good at disassembly. You're mostly shooting the foot of modders which are helpful in patching security vulnerabilities, since they want to play without cheaters. Reconsider your course of action.

as a modder of other games this seems to be extremely important to this game's modding community, please restore it

Minecraft is a game that is predicated on creativity, it should be kept open as a creative platform in all valid aspects. I am not a modder, but have nothing but respect for the art of it. Microsoft and Mojang need to remain cognizant of what makes Minecraft great, and the role that that has had in the success the game still carries for the better part of two decades. It is the creative spirit of the community that keeps this game going. We have no obligation to support this game, it is out of love and respect that keeps us here. If this love and respect is not returned, we won't.

So please, release the pdb files.
It's the least you could do.

Microsoft is making a trashcan out of this game. we need to stop this.

The onlyhope for bedrock is Microsoft listening to the community or reselling the game. If this continues, it'll be dead in like five years.

Dear bedrock team, please consider contiue providing the pdb file. It's really essential for us modders to find bugs our mods so they don't break the game.
Try to make a mod without it or the source code, it's time consuming and or almost even impossible.

Removing PDB files hurts modders, who work out of love for the game, while leaving hackers unaffected, who work for money. Malicious users will always find a way to reverse-engineer the code, removing PDBs just makes it harder for legitimate users.

Minecraft is a heavily community-based game. PDB is vital to the Bedrock community. Removing PDBs would ruin the Minecraft Bedrock community.
