Agreed. Microsoft is quietly trying to destroy the modding community so they can make more money off the game..

I don't understand how Microsoft expects the Bedrock multiplayer experience to be even remotely comparable to that of Java Edition without providing this kind of information. Removing the PDB from BDS is going to make it extremely difficult, or even impossible for the multiplayer experience to truly flourish as it has on Java Edition.

having pdb files is really important and modding is also a big part of minecraft's popularity, so it would be really nice to get pdb files back

PDB is important for the future and sustainability of Bedrock Minecraft. Without it, Bedrock will most likely die out within due time. It's literally a step of C++ Minecraft's Ecosystem. Microsoft please do not double down on this.

The fact you are removing the ability for people to access the PDB file for most popular game in history is absolutely disgusting, when it has done nothing but make the community at large have better access to bug testing, hacking preventing, etc. I genuinely believe this is a move from Microsoft to force everyone's had into buying the lesser-quality "addons" that pale in comparison to the ability to mod and add features that are beloved (and have eve been added to the base game in the past by sheer popularity) is exactly this sort of money grubbing behavior from Microsoft that has left me not wanting to play Minecraft anymore.
