    There needs to be a middle ground for mace changes, at the moment it became too weak in PVP and survival mode. I recommend something between the previous mace's power level and the current one, that seems like a sweet spot.

    Please add a Crafting name tag. This would require two papers and one thread. Please, it would help more than one player. And if Mace can be restored as it was.

    24w19a changes are too much. The mace is no longer worth going out of our way for. Please revert them.

    The mace attack could be blocked by the Windswept Helmet.

    I think that the current state of the mace in its base, unenchanted form has been nerfed far too heavily and it is no longer a niche side-grade to swords and axes like the trident is. The DPS on the ground is akin to a stone shovel and is far worse than an unenchanted trident (which comes from the easier, more abundant form of vaults I may add).

    I just tested against a stand-in for a full prot 4 netherite player. (java edition btw) The mace with breach 4 kills the player a whole 10 seconds slower than a sharp 5 netherite sword when using normal attacks, and 7 seconds slower when using critical attacks. This performance is on par with a sharpness 1 iron sword, which is pathetic in comparison to how hard it is to obtain and max enchants on a mace. I fail to see why anyone would use breach at all with these new base stats and the enchantment exclusivity. The mace in its current state is just another novelty weapon that everyone is going to shelve after 5 minutes like most did with their crossbow, when it should feel like a valued addition to your existing arsenal like a trident. It should feel like a powerful artifact that the builders of the trial chambers had to dismantle and seal away until someone worthy of it came along, but right now it feels extremely weak, clunky, underpowered, and most importantly, unfun to use. I feel like the main thing I was excited for this update has been nerfed into the ground and ruined.

    24w18a Mace changes have excessively nullified the viability of the weapon, and requires further rebalancing. 

    I do actually like the damage drop off in theory, it allows greater flexibility in the mace's damage scaling.
    Also appreciate Density and Breach being mutually exclusive.

    However, the other changes are far too drastic IMO, essentially mandating the usage of wind charges for acceptable damage. 

    Firstly I'd like the base damage to be greatly increased, enough to two shot most mobs, greatly enhanced knockback when on the ground, as well as the ability to knockback multiple targets in its swing arc. 

    Next would be to revert the mutual enchantment nerfs, only keeping Density and Breach Mutually exclusive.

    Last would be for it to have greater crowd control capabilities. Along with knocking back targets, the mace should also be able to deal damage to multiple enemies with the smash attack itself, not just from knockback and the potential fall damage from it. Said area damage could be a fraction of the main impact damage. or some other way could be used to calculate it. The area's size should also scale with a drop-off, to ensure it doesn't become excessively large.

    This would give the Mace an identity of a hard-hitting crowd control weapon, without making the sword and axe moot.

    Please revert the mace nerfs or find a middle ground. I have done a lot of reading from the community, the general consensus seems to be that you should revert the Wind Burst nerf more than anything. I, like others, would also be pleased if the Mace stayed as-is, but Wind Burst nerf is reverted. I like that it’s heavy, but make it slightly less heavy if necessary for Wind Burst. Using Wind Burst for chain attacks made the Mace very fun to use! Please bring this back. I know people wanted the Mace to be nerfed but it’s too nerfed now, especially for its rarity, and we need a middle ground. Thank you for reading and receiving our feedback as always

    I don’t understand why people are saying the mace had been nerfed too much. This is exactly what we asked for, and I feel that it is perfect. The cooldown and low base damage counteracts the overpowered nature of the drop damage increase, and mutually exclusive enchants make it harder to kill netherite, which is perfect. Additionally, it takes actual skill to use in a way that makes it properly overpowered. I very much like this version of the mace, and think it should stay this way.

    We need to buff the mace: the cooldown would be fine if it did around 10 damage, but there's no point in making it do little damage and make it incredibly slow. Furthermore, the damage from falling is also too little. I liked how it was before. Now there is no longer any point in struggling and wasting time to get the mace, which is also very rare, too much for such a weak weapon.

    It would be cool if you could use the mace to turn blocks into cracked and damaged variants by hitting them with it

    I like the idea and the new attack cooldown, but maybe the cooldown should be a little faster, about as fast as an axe. I'm seeing a lot of people say it does too little damage or that it's not good since the breach/density enchantments are made incompatible, and I think they have a point. I think those enchantments should be made compatible again and the base damage raised to eight or something. Also, wind burst should be made to work if you land a critical hit, instead of falling five blocks.

    I think the mace got nerfed too much, it isn't powerful enough to use in pvp anymore because of the enchantments being incompatible and doing too little damage. It would also be good if it's attack speed was raised to 1, the same as a diamond axe and it's damage raised to 8, the same as a wooden axe. This way, the axe is still an essential weapon but the mace can be used differently

    Please make the mace have a 3d model like the trident! Its hard to believe a flimsy thin piece of pixels can do so much damage.

    Maybe the Mace can reflect projectiles back to their sender if you hit the projectile at the right time.

    I have a cool idea 💡 to add a penguin. This will be a mob of winter biomes that can also reproduce if you feed it fish. It will be UNIQUE in that it will drop in addition to 7 feathers, it will also drop a penguin egg!!! He can swim in the water in search of fish.

    The mace is quite strong with its smash attack. You could do that if you have the turtle helmet on, you get less damage. In addition, I would add a 3d animation to it if you hold it in your hand

    I didn't like the hammer. It doesn't even kill the Varden from 150 altitude. Firstly, how will you rise to a height of 150 blocks if you are in a mine. In short, even a nether sword will be more useful than a mace sword!
