    mayor new weapon coming, we could have some ways to change it like the Tinkers Construct mod, it would also open doors and possibilities for new weapons and even powers or utilities, it's just an idea but the community was going crazy

    I like this weapon. And the method of striking. You have to fall to take a lot of damage. Plus you can use Wind Charges to gain height and switch to mace. This is great

    I LOVE THIS I can now rocket jump using wind charges and land crits with the mace this is literally the market gardener from tf2 AWESOME JOB MOJANG

    The Mace would look better with its 3D design like the Trident, with the other weapons it can work like the sword since it is supposed to have a edge but the Mace something that should be square is weird

    I think it could deal a slight proportion of the damage to nearby entities or only deal 1 damage to make it more impactful.

    Add echo shards into the recipe of the mace. when hitting something with it (including an armor stand), it creates a shockwave. the stronger the hit, the bigger the shockwave, damage and knockback. the shockwave will also be detected by sculk sensors, bigger shockwaves will have a larger than usual detection radius, meaning you can trigger a sculk sensor from a much further distance.

    Another idea for the heavy core: the core could also be a wind conduit that will allow the player to fly like in creative within a certain distance, this will make construction easier and will certainly please the community a lot

    The mace should have another more interesting function: it could be enchanted with the loyalty enchantment, just like the trident thrown against hostile mobs would give super strong damage and return to the player's hand like the famous Mjolnir.

    I really like the concept of the mace, I feel that some exclusive enchantments could be interesting (exclusives of the vaults).

    The mace does more damage depending on the height, which means that the more speed you accumulate (in the fall) the more damage it does, rigth?

    So how about an enchantment called "acceleration" or something like that, that increases the damage of the mace that unlike the vertical speed (falling from a great height in this case), depends on the horizontal speed of the player, this would give more use to the speed potions, the horses, or the minecarts.

    It would also be great to have an enchantment for area damage, like sweppin edge.

    ah and I agree with many, it would be great if it was 3D like the trident.

    I like the idea, but it can be improved. I think it would be good if he did damage in the area and not just a little push. The damage of area could increase depending on the level (I, II, III) of a new enchantment, something like "Heavy Impact"

    I think it was ok to name it in Polish language 'maczuga" or 'młot". In my idea, mace can't be crafted. We need to kill a new mob in the trial chambers i think it is the mini - boss like the elder - guardian. He attack us exactly the mace! When we kill it will fall out of it this item.

    If you make a platform 20 blocks above a warden, then jump off, hitting the warden. You do a quarter of its health. Doing it 4 times can kill it. MACE IS OVERPOWERED. Falling 10 blocks with strength effect, can kill a player with protection 4 and turtle master effect.

    Mace is Overpowered you can kill ender dragon with one hit.

    The mace is a really good and fun weapon when combined with Wind charges, and although at first, I wondered why I couldn't enchante it, I later realized that i could 3 shot an Iron golem with some wind charges, so I think its best not to be able to put things like sharpness, but we should be able to put Mending and unbreaking on it since its durability is so low.

    It would also be cool to have an enchantment that makes it so that when u do the high jump attack, enemies that are pushed back are also damaged, of course not as much as the one who got hit in the head. Or an enchantment that increases the force of pushing things back.

    • Having read the patch notes beforehand, the mace feels easy to use. 
    • The knockback is a great mechanic, but I feel it lacks visual feedback to make it really feel "heavy". I think a shockwave of particles when you land from a great height would be satisfying here. Also some kind of visual indicator for how much damage you’re building up whilst falling.
    • Similarly, I agree with others that a 3d model would look better and make it feel more like a mace and more in line with the trident, another "unique" weapon. 
    • The mace currently feels a little too reliant on wind charges, so I think a secondary ability would be good? Maybe it could be enchanted with elemental power? Or maybe a different way of building up damage (although not as much as falling) such as holding left click?

    I absolutely love this new weapon! I like how it is has its own unique mechanics, but I don't think its powerful enough to be used over an axe or sword. I have a few suggestions that I think would make it more powerful. 

    - Give the Mace a splash damage attack similar to the sweeping attack of the sword, but it is triggered when striking an enemy from a 5 block fall or higher. The attack will damage enemies within a small radius. Add an enchantment to expand this radius and the damage dealt with the splash damage.

    - I watched a bit of PhoenixSC's stream. In the stream, he was able to 1 shot the wither from 100 or 200 blocks up (I forget which) and negate all fall damage. I think this is a good concept, but it needs to be changed. I would change it to reduce X percent of fall damage instead of 100%. I also think the maximum amount of damage should be capped, however that's much less of an issue in my opinion.

    - I have not tested this yet so I do not know if this is already a feature, but I think the mace should have the ability to disable shields like the axe, but it should also have an enchantment that allows it to disable shields for longer OR deal X percent of damage through shields.

    Overall, I think this is going to be one of the most unique weapons in the game, and I think these changes will help keep it from becoming obsolete in the late game, and in PvP. Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion! I hope you will continue to add weapons with unique mechanics!
