    New enchantement idea, Weight, it will tranfer your downwards velocity into the entity/player you hit, morre velocity is transfered deppending on the level of the enchantement.

    Here's an idea- what if the mace were the only weapon that could have both Smite and Bane of Arthropods? It would be fun to play around with, and make the mace even more special.

    Making turtle/slime shells able to block damage completely, as balanced as it is, seems a bit much. Maybe making it deal the same amount of damage as if you were hitting someone while standing still while majorly damaging the helmet.

    Minecraft 1.20.5 Pre release 1

    Return Wind Burst to how it worked before. The new way took away a lot of the fun. I hope it's a bug

    The density enchantment really needs to be less overpowered. I can one-shot the wither from 20 blocks with density 5. Please.

    The ender dragon is too easy to kill too.

    A good change to the mace would be to give it a cap and have density enchantment increase that cap.

    Have it stopped increasing damage past 8 blocks unenchanted and double it per density enchantment. Density 1 will have it increase damage up to 16 blocks, Density 2 will increase until 32 blocks, 3 would be 62, 124, then 248 blocks.

    With this change there will be no way to increase its base damage unless you engage with its mechanic yet making it still powerful enough to one shot that ender dragon with the right setup.


    Breach should be changed to deal one point of damage per two armor points of a target. Which would mean hitting someone with full diamond or netherite with a mace would kill them in two hits But if you had a lower armor rating such as full iron,you would actually last longer. Though the protection enchantment can still help negate some damage

    This would still make it a formidable weapon but still allowing it to have counters for PVP and still viable and fun to use in survival.

    It would be great if the PROPULSION enchantment could be used on The Mace but instead of propelling you through rain and water it propels you into the air (but only to give a boost and not to fly) and with a long enough cooldown to not abuse its use.

    I think mace should be an upper limit on height and damage, or it's too easy to be invincible :D

    I dont really like the windburst nerf since it was way more fun, so i would like to prupose that we cant have density and windburst in the same mace, making the player chose between damage or movement.

    Minecraft has always been good of giving players a small warning that damage is imminent by playing a sound like mob noise and TNT sizzling.

    Since a player with a Mace can 1-shot another unsuspecting player even with full Netherite armor, can a falling sound be added to the mace when it falls from a certain height?

    A air-whistling sound would give players a chance to move the shield in place or jump out of the way. It would also fit with the idea of a heavy core being used as the head of the mace.

    the first thing i think of when there is a new feature is all the mods and resource packs that will make it 10x better but this is still fun and op already so good job mojang

    Please !
    Make wind burst better? instead of activating while burst attack do it activates while critical attack. It would make many players enjoy this weapon again.🥺

    I think Mojang should make the turtle helmet reduce the mace damage to 50-70% in every hit otherwise the mace would be too OP. In my opinion it shouldn't negate all damage because that would make the helmet too OP and easy to obtain. It would also make people playing Minecraft want to craft the turtle helmet more. Since it's adding a new use and it's revolving around the 1.21 update. This is why I think the turtle helmet should negate some of the mace's damage to platers.

    Hello dear Minecraft developers. I want to give feedback to the mace. I have to make a 3D texture and change it (texture) and so class. And you can also add new chews like bears, wolves, and different birds like eagles, titmice, sparrows. And then there's the change of seasons and the need to drink on this all the successful development of Minecraft!

    I think it should have the slowest load speed of any tool, and not to powerful. People should still want a sword

    I made this comment on a different feedback post but will restate it in brevity here: the mace is a heavy weapon- so why does it swing as fast as a sword?

    I think reducing the Mace's attack speed by a small amount (say, to 1.3)- will help it feel more mechanically distinct than swords on the ground- making the mace demand just a little more precision while encouraging players to play to the Mace's strengths (since the sword is for slashing mobs on the ground, the Mace for crushing them from above, right?); it'll also help rein in the new heavyweight in our toolkit a little while also serving to sell its weightiness via making it resonate mechanically!

    The mace was so awesome and unique but now it feels like a pointless weapon now that the enchants are mutually exclusive and wind burst has very little effect. Additionally, why is mace only as powerful as a stone sword for being such a rare weapon? I understand balancing damage, but I feel like it’s been nerfed too much and there’s a middle ground between 1 shotting the warden easily and barely killing a cow

    The recent mace nerfs on bedrock edition is too much, now it feels like a junk gimmick item not worth getting.

    After some tests with other people on pvp + pve, we think the mace is now useless:

    Windburst felt great before, but it seems to be weaker now. Breach being mutually exclusive makes it a pointless enchant in most survival games, as most mobs don't have armor.

    Right now, mace enchants need to allow windburst + density + breach + smite OR arthropod. Even with this combination, the mace is still rather weak due to the damage nerfs. Please don't turn this cool weapon into yet another useless addition, and make the heavy cores a little bit more common so more players can discover this update's new weapon!

    1. Mojang went too far with mace nerfs, the DPS now feels much worse than a trident or crossbow, and it's very difficult to do wind & slam kills now. We need to revert this change of mace enchantments being exclusive, as we want to make the worthless breach and bane of arthropod books usable, because right now density's the only viable option. But density is also starting to look useless with the nerfs, and as for smite I'm better off using a smite axe. Having all these enchants on the mace is not as overpowered as you think, as they're all very situational and weak in survival.
    2. What I really don't like about the changes, is that now you're kinda forced to jump from insane heights to kill, which is a horrible idea on hardcore mode, or even normal survival as you'll die. Before this change, the mace can deal reasonable damage by dropping shorter distances due to the base damage and pre-nerf density. But now it needs lethal drops not viable in normal gameplay, as you need to first set-up a high block tower, or find some crazy elevated terrain. I'm better off just killing the mob with my sword instead of doing unnecessary tasks like that.

    The recent nerfs were unneeded. I know there were people asking for nerfs, but I feel many people were focusing too much on what top players were doing on ideal conditions, and not checking what average players could do on real conditions.

    I personally love this weapon, especially after playtesting it in Minecraft Preview (1.21.0.24). I have 2 suggestions, however, that I think would benefit this great new addition.

    Firstly, I think that the recent nerf to the Wind Burst enchantment can be tweaked a bit. In the latest preview (1.21.0.24), a player must fall- from my approximations- about 3 blocks or so. This is ok, however, I think that this should only apply to Wind Burst I, while Wind Burst II maybe has the player fall 1.5 blocks, and Wind Burst III only requires that a critical hit or a fall of 1 block be performed.

    I think that these changes would give players more incentive to seek out Wind Burst III and give each level more of its own unique quirk to them.

    Secondly, I would make it that to craft a mace, 2 breeze rods are required, as opposed to the current singular rod. This is simply for the fact that for other tools in the game, 2 sticks are required to craft, so it makes sense that the mace, too, would require 2 materials to craft its handle.

    Other than those 2 things, I really think that this feature is a genuine fun feature to play around with and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the community does with the mace upon full release!
