    Enchanting system in my opinion needs to be reworked, but i dont think luck based aspect is bad, in case there is one set of endgame armor and tool and you just need to reroll until you get it, than yeah, its bad, but there can be more equaly good enchants that would encourage players for diffrent approach.

    Maybe players have to choose between more health, better regen or more speed on armor, on sword it can be more instant damage, or some kind or negative effects for mobs, maybe some kind of healing per damage dealt or some chance to deal very powerful hit or some kind of rage so player deal more damage when they are low heath. I really like how enchanting system works in minecraft dungeons and i would really like something like that beeing in minecraft.

    If i would have to suggest smaller upgrade it would propably be a two enchant limit on diamond armor and three enchant limit on netherite so players would really have to choose between enchants and not just hunt for 10 good enchants for boots..

     

    I also agree with villagers, they are too OP.
